MVMCP - My Very Merry Chistmas Pre-Trip Report

I don't blame you one bit!!! We used the stroller for Devon up till he was 5 1/2! That is alot of walking for little legs. Not to mention it is so much less of a hassle in the parks to have them in the stroller for the parents!

During our first family trip to WDW (08/06), we rented the double stroller at the parks. DS was 5 and DD was 7. Two and a half years later (12/08), we found we didn't need it and just stopped and rested as needed. It's so expensive to rent now anyway. I always love the $10 umbrella strollers. They're nice and compact and they do the job.

We are renting a double stroller. I can't imagine my kiddos without it. I know Brenda is 4 and will think she doesn't need it...till we have walked a little bit. Tehn she will be thankful for it!

We're definately bringing an umbrella stroller with us. SW allows first boarding when you have one, it makes a great park bag holder and at 5 and a half, Demetri still needs it despite him strongly thinking otherwise.

I'm all caught up!! I've been a bad reader!

We bought a double stroller on craigslist for our daughter and the other little girl on the trip. They thought we were crazy at first, but now they are grateful I got the double stroller! Alyssa is 4 and Cortlyn is 2... I have a story on my PTR about the girls and the single stroller I took to the USM game last night! (Shameless PTR plug, huh? )

I think even if I was pretty sure Jack could walk all the time, I would still bring a stroller. That kid is heavy! Plus I like having a place to keep him locked up while trying to shop!

We are super excited. Funny thing is Jada does not have a clue that tomorrow is the day we leave. (I wonder if not having any concept of time is a good thing????)

Very sorry for not being around. My boss was in Disney this week, so extra work for me, and my sister came in from Az for a visit on Thursday. Not much news on the trip front. Got to do some work around the house today, and the kids have a Bday party to go to tomorrow. One of these weeks I will actually get to the shirts.

to my ptr, I hope you enjoy the trip. Driving wasn't too bad, definitely a money saver. Next time I would plan on stopping somewhere along the way. Of course I am hoping next time is either a Disney Cruise, or DisneyLand, and both would need a plane.

I've been debating doing one- but my DS is only 2.5 and i just didn't think he would get it, but i think i will do one like yours---heck, it can be more for me than him, right? i think he would enjoy putting the stickers on though at least even if he doesn't understand the time concept yet. i am so copying that. wow, i am officially your copycat now- first i did the shirts and now this. i might just owe you some royalties now.

You should definitely do the countdown. I printed off a copy that I keep at my desk so I can mark off the days. Shh! Don't tell the kids.

How did the shirts come out? I got behind on everyone's ptr's and kind of skimmed over alot of them to catch up.

What? Ok, so I have been a bit lazy lately. Actually haven't had much time to get over here. Since my last post my boss returned from Disney, my cousin, Serene56, went down and came back, and DevonsDisneyMom has probably been to Disney 4 times since my last post.

Man, time is flying. ON month on the countdown calendar is done, and we are starting on another. I still haven't worked out the daily plans yet. I think I have the first three down pat, so I should probably post them son. On the shirt front, I did manage to get the kids mickey heads sewn in. Now I gotta do the adults, and finish the tie-dye so everyone can see what a great job I did, or possibly what an epic failure I was.

I did order and get he carriage peral cages from Ebay. Got 3 even though the wife said to only get two, I think she should get one too.

I'm just finishing up my lunch break, hopefully I can catch up on reading soon.
