I was reviewing the available days in December on the MVMCP nights for the associated Holiday Dessert party .............. there are no dates available.

I was thinking this ticketed event within another ticketed event was not as popular as first advertised.

Was this not true or am I missing something ?

I have it booked for 12/8. on the fence whether i will keep it but I booked it. maybe it is sold out? I knew at least a few were already.

I have it booked on 12/6. I am happy I won't have to wait for the fireworks with 2 little munchkins for a good view. I bet you will see more availability as it gets closer and people change their minds though.

I have it booked for Dec. 11th. Tho like Lisa F we may not keep it! Waiting to hear reviews!

I have one booked for 11/29. Like others I'm waiting for hear reviews, may or may not cancel. They were available for awhile after they were released, but seem to have sold out recently.

I have one booked in December. Waiting on reviews. We loved the MNSSHP one last year but are on the fence due to the pre assigned seating no longer being available. I do love the parade spot though. I assume these dessert parties are quite popular because they offer a view of both the parade and fireworks.

but how are they? i have read mixed reviews. I am hoping to hear what people think about doing this vs. fireworks and later parade.
I think it depends on what you're looking for & what's most important to you at the party. For people looking to meet characters or enjoy a lot of rides, I don't think the dessert parties are worth it. It's a time investment that would take away from those experiences. However, if you're someone who stresses about finding a comfortable spot for parade & fireworks viewing, or if you're traveling with someone with mobility issues who doesn't use an ECV or wheelchair but could really use the seat at Tomorrowland Terrace, then I think it's something to consider.

I would probably just wait for reviews if I wasn't planning to attend the first party since the process of attending & the extras involved are different every year.
