MVMCP Dates Confirmed

Hello all.....
Just got off the phone with CRO and the tickets will be going on sale early May and here are the confirmed dates:

November 28, 30
December 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 17.

Now we just have to wait to find out when we can buy the tickets, but at least we can plan our days now!!!

good question!! I haven't heard one thing about it!

CP usually doesn't go on sale until about August. You make the dinner reservation at the same time as the show reservation.

That's us this year...we won't be getting to Disney until the 19th.

We will most likely go on Nov 30th....I usually go on Fridays, but Im really looking forward to going on a Tuesday.
For those that have gone on Tuesday's are the crowds cosiderably lower?

I can't wait till they go on sale, and we can start some official threads for each date and meet some DISers there!!

OT but just wanted to let you know, I went to your bad shoe site...I LOVE IT! I was laughing so hard at the shoes, when im there in Nov this year, you know I will be keeping my eye peeled and my camera handy!!

DW and I will be there on Sunday 12/5 for our second year in a row. Had an awesome time last year and MK was just about empty when we went. One thing we won't be doing is riding SM in the log alone. We both got drenched and were a little chilly the rest of the night. Plus, couldn't get the free picture as DW hair was "a mess" ...guess we'll get the picture first this year.

Saw on another post that Osbourne Lights are retuning this year so along with CP, MVMCP...I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be arriving on the 19th as well. But not to fear, we will only miss the hot chocolate and the free picture. When it is that close to Christmas, all the shows and parades from MVMCP run on a daily basis.

We went to the MVMCP in Dec. of 1999 and were unlucky enough to have it rain the whole entire night!! The parades were cancelled, and we sat in the rain to watch the shows (that covered roof over the viewing area in the Tomorrowland theatre has spaces!) Our free photo was funny, we all were in the yellow ponchos , drenched to the bone! That year , at least, the party was a waste of money because of the rain.

I was hoping to try it again this year, but heah, who knows, maybe some snow will be falling on Main St. that close to Christmas anyway! Just no rain falling please!!
