MVMCP and magic band?

I just booked our package and tickets for the Christmas party in November. Yay! The CM told us that the tickets for the party will be here in 7-10 days. I asked her if we could hold them at will call instead and she was very insistent on shipping them out (we did that last year for MNSSHP and it worked out great!) my concern is having them sit around for 6 months and losing/forgetting them when the time comes. Will I actually HAVE to have the paper tickets if they are linked to our magicbands?

Nope.



ETA:
There are no longer any "paper" tickets issued at WDW.
All tickets are plastic credit card size with an internal RFID chip.

I just keep all my Dsiney papers in a ziplock bag then just put the MVMCP in my wallet with my credit cards when I went. They were like a card the size of a credit card when we went. Just make sure you keep your receipt in your email so you can have that if they get lost before you go.
