any musicians or instrument players here, if so what instrument do you play?



i want to play guitar, specifically acoustic, but i don't know a good place to get it from any ideas?

I play the clarinet and some piano. They're both really fun! I got my clarinet from a music store called Dunkleys (might be spelled wrong) but idk if there's one in Florida (I live in Idaho)

I am HUDGE into music..If i am not listening to it, i am playing it. I play alot of instruments. Mostly the flute, piano, guitar, and bells.

Well I have a guitar that I havn't touched sense I put strings on it just so the neck wouldn't warp. I'm not real good on it. In fact I suck, but I should be getting back into playing that when I move back up to Michigan and can get a full set of strings on the thing.

I also just called my grandma and she agreed to give me her old keyboard. I used to be pretty darn good on the thing, and I feel the need to get back into that, now that I know my singing voice is absolutely horrid. :-/

I'd love a professional keyboard, or at least something new, however I'm not shelling out like $1000 for a keyboard when I have one I can and did get for free.

I have a lot of ground to make up. I used to be able to read music and all that stuff. Gotta re-learn that. I hope to soon be jamming out to tunes like Jump by Van Halen and Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue, all of which I would be playing.

my dad got it as a present, it was on sale at target for like $100
i can play jump, crazy train, the POTC song, numb by linkin park, seven nation army,iron man, smoke on the water.
most of em are easy. took me a long time to figure out jump and the pirates song

I might have to have my mom take me to the brandsmart at the mall. See what they got, and how much it is. I'd love one of those where the keys light up and you can do lessons and stuff like that, but everything I can find that's like that is either A) Wicked expensive, or B) Only a couple hundred bucks, but from retailers I've never heard of.

I was playing basic stuff I guess you could say when I was at my best. However, I could read music and I was starting to bust into some more complicated stuff. I could play stuff like twinkle twinkle little star, which was just stupid easy, I figued out hail to the victors on my own, and I was starting to bust into stuff like Hey Jude. Unfortunately though, Hey Jude was the only song in that songbook that wasn't in your "When The Band Comes Marching In" catigory.

What I could play though, I played well, and if I had the paitents back then I could've learned a lot more.

i can read the piano music, but all the songs in the song book are really bad ( titanic and elton john are 2 examples ) Most of the songs i play use the exact same notes. sometimes i put a drum rythm in the background change the sound to guitar and just jam.

the first song i learned was some song from Top Gun.
