I heard you can listen to music in the Oceaneers Lab for age group 10-12 years during the 7 day Eastern Carribean Cruise. What is the area like that you can listen to music at? Is it cool? Are there plenty of players and headphones?

What kind of CD's do they have, and most importantly-- can I bring my own and play them there?

Was it cool going to Common Grounds? What'd ya do while you were there? What about music in here?

What were the coolest things to do on the ship?

Did you see many Disney characters?

thanks for anwering----Alli :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hey Alli, I went on the cruise last January, and was then 12. I was in the Oceanerr Lab. It's really neat. They have a little square room in the back with head phones attached to the wall. They are like the one's at Target, where u pick a number, and it'll play that song. You can bring your own for in your room, or whatever, but i dont think that u can bring it into the club. I could be wrong though, i never tried. I only went to common ggrounds one of the days, and it wasn't that great (mostly because everyone thereee was 2 or 3 year younger that me) But u might like it. I hope that helped.

As for the other stuff... The characters have a special breqakfast that you can go to, they're all aroud the islands, all around the ship, they have autograph signing session, you see A LOT of the characters. I really loved being on there all together, i honestly couldn't pick a favorite thing. When you go to St. Thomas, try and make it to Coki Beach to go snorkeling. It is really beautiful there. Take advantage of the free food (the tacos from Pluto's Dog House are delicious) 'cause u wont find that on many other cruises or other places. Enjoy the beaches, and just really enjoy it. It's an incredible thing. Have fun! Oh yea, if you like Shirley Temples (the drink) just be aware that you can get them at dinner time for free. I didn't find that out until the last dinner, and to think, i could have had a shirley temple w/ every dinner. And make sure you go to the Midnight Dessert Buffet. There is a really long line, but it is definately worth the wait!

Hi Andrew (Penguin Fan):

Thanks a lot for all the info about things to do, the tips about the tacos, shirley temples, dessert buffet, common grounds, and music! Another question for you or anyone else: My 9 year old brother will be in the age group right below me, will I ever get to see him while I'm in the lab? And what movies did you go to? How late did the movies run and how late did you stay out at night?

I'm really excited to go and it sounds like you had fun so I hope I will too. Even though my family is driving 3 days to get there!!

It will be worth the drive, I bet.

thanks again, Alli
