I talk with a Witness
By Elizabeth Swann.

So I was sitting there writing my other article when I heard about the accident at DHS. Once I finished my AK article, I was off to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

After checking in with Kiki, who was already there, I went to the scene of the incident. A lot of people were either in shock or tight lipped. I did manage to interview a young parade performer, who will be called PP.

E: Hello, I'm Elizabeth Swann. I work for the Disney Times Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

PP: No no, it's fine.

E: Good. Can you tell me what happened?

PP: Well, he was up on one of the floats. But I don't know if he lost his balance, or if the float simply slipped out from under him, but he fell of the float. But he landed right in front of it and the float couldn't stop in time......

E: It must have been terrifying.

PP: Oh yes, it was horrible.

E: Did you know this cast member well?

PP: Oh yes. We went to college together. We had a lot of the same classes.

E: I'm sorry. What happened after?

PP: Well, the hospital took him away. I haven't been able to see him yet. I might be able to see him after the parade.

E: What are you in the parade?

PP: Oh, I'm a dancer for the Little Mermaid float.

E: Which one was your cast member friend on?

PP: The Winnie the Pooh float.

E: Do you think someone might have pushed him off?

PP: Oh, no. The others on the float didn't see anything odd. And besides, everybody likes him. He's a pretty popular guy. He's so nice to everyone.

E: I see. Thank you for talking with me about your friend.

PP: Your welcome.

Figment: THAT WAS THE BEST RIDE I'VE EVER BEEN ON! *cough* I wonder where there's a good place to eat. *flies to Sci-Fi Dine in Theater*

IN THE PARKS
with the Genie

Hello again! Today has been a very busy day in the parks, so let’s go ahead and start!

Earlier today the entire park heard this message announced,

Rafiki's Planet Watch will be closed until further notice. A snake has been let loose, and our cast members are working hard to capture it. Only one person was injured, but they are in a stable condition, and have been transported to Celebration Hospital. Sorry for any inconvenience, and our information on the work we've done around the world with Disney's Conservation Fund will now be outside the entrance to Kilomanjaro Safari.

Along with my colleagues we’ve dug up some facts from the incident. This is a Disney Times Exclusive and you won’t read it anywhere else. I got the chance to interview him earlier today at the hospital about his injury. I’ll be G He’ll be S.

G: Hello sir, I’m from the Disney Times and I’m here to interview you about today’s incident.

S: Ok. Just sit down over there.

G: Great! Now to the first question, just tell me what happened.

S: Me and my family were just walking through the exhibit when suddenly we all heard a loud noise which we all thought was broken glass, and it was. We all started running my kid in front, then my wife, then me. They had gotten out of the building but I hadn’t. I heard the snake slithering behind me, I looked back and it bit me. But before I passed out I saw a shadow. When I asked my family later if they saw the shadow they said they hadn’t. And then here we are now.

G: Wow. So what did you think was making the shadow?

S: I don’t know because I only saw the tip of it as it was going around the corner.

G: Have you talked with any of the people working there today yet?

S: Yes, I’ve talked to the snake trainer.

G: What did he say to you?

S:Soory for the Snakes actions and all that trash.

G: Are you mad at Disney?

S: No, but I am mad at that trainer. It’s all his fault you know.

G: I can see that. Thanks for you’re time Mr. S. Have a great day!

There you have it. Now another incident happened today and this is what was announced earlier,

I'm sorry to announce that the Celebration of Animation parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be delayed until 4:00pm. This is due to accident backstage, as a Cast Member got caught under a parade float during practice. The Cast Member in question was sent to Celebration Hospital, and is hoped to make a full recovery. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I also visited this patient and interviewed him. I’m G and he’ll be T. This is what he said,

G: Good afternoon Mr. T!

T: Hello!

G: I’m from The Disney Times and here to interview you to find out what really happened at the incident today.

T: Ok, let’s get started.

G: Tell me what happened to you.

T: The parade was in full swing when suddenly, everything went black. I been passed out. When I woke up I was here, at the hospital with a doctor looking at my leg. They said I had fell and the float had broken my leg.

G: Amazing. I guess you can’t tell me much since you were passed out. Is this true?

T: Yes. It would be really nice if you went away.

G: Um..okay.

This interview was very short but you have to remember that he passed out. In other news let’s talk about events. This was announced earlier today,
