I talk with a Witness
By Elizabeth Swann.
So I was sitting there writing my other article when I heard about the accident at DHS. Once I finished my AK article, I was off to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
After checking in with Kiki, who was already there, I went to the scene of the incident. A lot of people were either in shock or tight lipped. I did manage to interview a young parade performer, who will be called PP.
E: Hello, I'm Elizabeth Swann. I work for the Disney Times Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?
PP: No no, it's fine.
E: Good. Can you tell me what happened?
PP: Well, he was up on one of the floats. But I don't know if he lost his balance, or if the float simply slipped out from under him, but he fell of the float. But he landed right in front of it and the float couldn't stop in time......
E: It must have been terrifying.
PP: Oh yes, it was horrible.
E: Did you know this cast member well?
PP: Oh yes. We went to college together. We had a lot of the same classes.
E: I'm sorry. What happened after?
PP: Well, the hospital took him away. I haven't been able to see him yet. I might be able to see him after the parade.
E: What are you in the parade?
PP: Oh, I'm a dancer for the Little Mermaid float.
E: Which one was your cast member friend on?
PP: The Winnie the Pooh float.
E: Do you think someone might have pushed him off?
PP: Oh, no. The others on the float didn't see anything odd. And besides, everybody likes him. He's a pretty popular guy. He's so nice to everyone.
E: I see. Thank you for talking with me about your friend.
PP: Your welcome.
