December 21st (part 1): Cupcakes, comedy, and chicken (...and meatloaf)

So after the epic fail the weekend before trying to see my lights, we went to MGM again. Now, I really didn’t want to go but my lights were calling moi’s name.

And a red velvet cupcake.

We got to the turnstiles, admired the tree, and headed on in.

I hate you.

First stop was of course Starring Rolls.

JUST LOOK AT THESE PUPPIES.

So after we got our food, there were no tables open so we just sat on a bench and let’s just say that all of our food fell off of the bench…. Yeah.

Mum went back in to get replacements and the CM was kind of snippy about it. I love MGM CMs…

A table opened up in the meantime, thank God.

They had ham sandwiches which kind of looked like the old ones they had at the Main St Bakery, but they really didn’t live up to those masterpieces THAT THEY TOOK AWAY but that is another rant for another time…

After we ate, we looked around Hollywood Blvd and found the calendar we were looking for the weekend before.

And um I kind of need these vinylmations even though I hate vinylmations. I mean, MR PRICKLEPANTS AND LITTLE MIKEY!

Then we got in line for my BCFs (best chipmunks forever) because they looked really cute in their Hollywood gear. They went inside for a break and then STITCH came out…?! Now, I ain’t hatin’ on Stitch, but Chip and Dale >>>>>>>>> I was mad.

We had a FP to use so we headed towards the Streets of America. No, we weren’t using one for Lights, Motors, Why is this show still there! We aren’t that stupid.

It wasn’t quite time yet, so we looked around in the Muppets gift shop.

Me and Miss Piggy are the same person.

They had this laptop bag in there and I have to say, I am IN LOVE with this print.

It was time for our FP, so we literally walked outside and we were there.

Our destination!

Like, I can’t take the decorations.

We didn’t even need a FP but whatever. We didn’t know how popular the show would be.

It felt so weird to be in the Premier Theater. It usually just sits there like everything else at MGM and I had never been in there before.

I am sorry, BUT WHY ISNT THE COMEDY WAREHOUSE A REGULAR THING AT THAT AWFUL PARK?! Like, that is what MGM needs on a regular basis. It would make that park 100000x better and I might be actually excited to go instead of dreading it. Disney really needs to add more things like this. Like, can I have a survey.

The show was awesome and hilarious. I was OBSESSED with it.

The best part was this joke: “Who was born on Christmas Day? Cheez-its!” They kept bringing up cheese and it WAS JUST SO FUNNY and we were DYING at that joke. Not that funny? Ok… You had to have been there!

We left and got a Mickey macaroon at the Writer’s Stop. This was cinnamon flavored.

We didn’t know what else to do and another Comedy Warehouse was 30 minutes away so we got in line. I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH.

This show wasn’t as funny as the first but it was still fantastic.

We decided to head over to Animation and got in the imaginary line for Minnie.

Her queue is perf.

I look SO bad here but Minnie looks so cute. And her dressing room is perfect.

An animation class was about 20 minutes away so we got in line and waited.

Our animator let us vote on a character and we got to draw Carl Fredrickson!

Mine came out 10000x better than Mum’s. Just sayin’. (Mine is on the right).

We made our way outside and made our way over to TSM since it was time to use our FP.

It was almost dinnertime and we didn’t know where we wanted to eat since QS is total crap at MGM.

We tried for a walkup at Sci Fi but all of the walkup tables were filled.

So we went over to the 50s and they said it would be about a 35 minute wait, so we decided to just hang around and wait.

Their tree is perf.

5 minutes later…

We were called!

We were seated next to cousins from Florida, and they lived in the same town that I got to school in! Like, not a small world at all…

They were really nice, but they did NOT know their Disney characters. They claimed that TNBC was one of their faves but they called Zero Spook! What kind of crap is that?! And they butchered Jack’s name. Like, don’t even talk to moi.

We had the same waitress from “the other people” trip and she is really nice. Her name is Jen and one of the best servers we have had at the 50s.

For my dinner, I got the meatloaf. That stuff is GOOD.

And of course I had to get the pb&j shake. That is also GOOD.

Mum got the fried chicken and that is like the best fried chicken EVER, along with Fort’s.

We were way too full for dessert so we passed, paid, said bye to our cousins, and strolled on down to the Streets of America.​

December 21st (part 2): Cause I can't get enough of my lights

Now, I took WAY too many pictures of my lights on this night because it was going to be the last time I saw them for the season and then I was like “Wait…is this going to be the last time EVER because of the rumored plans for MGM?!?!?! NOOOO!” Then I was like “Disney doesn’t give a crap about this park LOLOLOL why would they do something with it?! So no, last time for the season.”

Anyways…

December 24th: Our Christmas Eve at the Fort

Instead of going to the parks on Christmas Eve, this was our destination.

The security CM let us right through, which I was a little shocked about since our ADR wasn’t until later and since the MK parking lot was full, I thought many people would be parking at resorts.

We parked and took a bus to Meadows, where they had free cookies and lemonade outside. OH YEAH!

We looked around in the trading post for a few.

Mum bought a little something for a friend in MA and then we went outside and the golf cart parade was going on!

This is a golf cart. Perfection.

One cart was giving out reindeer food to the kids, which is like amazing. I got some candy though, so it’s all good.

Then we walked to Settlement, which really isn’t that bad of a walk.

Why do the decorations have to be so crappin’ perf.

The golf cart parade came around again. Yes, that is smoke coming out of a chimney. On a golf cart.

Pioneer Hall was all decked out.

It was almost time for the character greeting and I was hoping for my BCFs, but Donald came out. He was really cute though.

We walked around for a bit and said hi to the horsies.

I can’t with the Disney horsies.

Then we waited for the wagon ride and I have to say, it was pretty chilly! A blanket and some hot chocolate would’ve sealed the deal for moi.

I barely got any good pics on the wagon ride, but the Christmas displays were awesome.

And btw, while we were waiting for the wagon ride, Santa came out and was holding a tumbler, which was probably filled with spiked egg nog.

Anyways…

After the wagon ride, we took a bus to Meadows and bought some marshmallows and hot chocolate and sat by the campfire. It was just absolutely perfect and I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We walked back to Settlement after a few.

Bokeh oh the way, duh.

It was time to check in for the Hoop Dee Doo!

While we waited, I bought a few charms for my bracelet because I really needed more.

It was almost time to head inside when a CM came up to us and said we were waiting on the wrong side. THANKS FOR TELLING US BEFORE!

We picked category 3 and it just felt weird being on the shelf. I mean, it wasn’t bad, but it was just weird. We have ALWAYS done category 1 and have gotten the two person table right in front of the stage and I missed our table. It really didn’t feel like we were a part of the show really. It was a lot of fun like usual, but category 1 FTW.

Of course, we started off with salad and the best cornbread on the planet.

I saw someone that didn’t even eat their loaf of cornbread. Like, what kind of crap is THAT?! Messed up idiots…

Next up were chicken, ribs, beans, corn, and mashed potatoes (which I forgot to take a pic of).

The best strawberry shortcake of. all. time.

After Mum rolled moi out of the door, we took a bus back to the parking lot and headed on home.​

For long exposure, I have it on manual with ISO 100, f/22, and I either do 15 or 20 seconds for the shutter speed. And for bokeh, I have it on regular auto with no flash, and I put it on manual focus so I can make it as blurry as I want. If you have other questions, just ask! Hope I could help ​

December 25th (part 1): "I was dreaming of a ball filled Christmas..."

Christmas Day. Aka a Disney fan’s worst nightmare.

We were going to Epcot because we had an ADR and we were going to Candlelight Processional. I knew Epcot wasn’t going to hit capacity, just MK, but I was prepared for crowds. Many, many, many Stupid Guests.

We approached DTD and were on our way to Epcot and MK traffic had already started.

Idk why people were still even going because all of the purple signs said full. Dumb idiots.

The traffic to get to MK was backed up for miles LOLOL.

And the traffic to get into the Epcot parking lot was ridiculous and nothing like I have ever seen before. And I don’t know if the CMs were taking money for parking. I think they just wanted to get everybody in.

Once we got parked, we just walked to the entrance because the tram lines were absolutely ridiculous and I couldn’t deal with all of those Stupid Guests.

It took about 20 minutes to actually get into the park. I was about to shoot someone.

Spaceship Earth had a 45 minute wait with an extended queue. And that guy looks happy.

Our ADR was in about 15 minutes once we got in, and it was all the way at Via Napoli. So we power walked over there and even had about 5 minutes to spare. #pros

I was very surprised that they were taking walk ups. The restaurant itself wasn’t too busy.

We were seated after only a couple of minutes.

Our waiter was FANTASTIC. I forgot to write down his name. He really wasn’t that cute which was disappointing, but he was so great and so funny.

Since we were doing the CP dinner package, we got to have an appetizer, entrée, and a dessert.

I started with the arancini, which is like amazing.

Mum got the calamari which she always RAVES about.

For my entrée, I got the personal margherita pizza which is not personal at all and can feed like two people. But omg it is so good. And I am sorry for the crap picture. The sun was not cooperating.

I literally have no clue what Mum got, but it was pasta with a creamy sauce and chicken. She said that she loved it.

Now of course I knew what I was getting for dessert but our waiter handed us a dessert menu anyways and I about died.

THE ZEPPOLES WERENT ON THERE.

Like, the zeppoles are basically the best thing ever and God pretty much created them and that is what I ALWAYS get. WHERE WERE THEY.

Our waiter came back over and I was crying. Mum asked where heaven was and he said that are not out for the Christmas season. I am sorry, but that is a bunch of crap. How are they not “Christmas-like?!” I don’t get that. But he said that they would be back after the holidays were over.

TEARS EVERYWHERE.

So Mum started singing “I was dreaming of a ball filled Christmas, just like the ones I used to know…” And then we created a whole verse to go along with the zeppoles, but I can’t remember it. It was good though.

We had to settle on something else so I got the gelato frizzante, which was vanilla gelato with San Pellegrino, which some flavor in it. It had an orange/lemon taste to it. And there was homemade whipped cream on top. I really liked it but zeppoles >>>>>

Mum got some apple cake with almond gelato and it was an epic fail. It had SO many raisins in it and she really didn’t like it.

After we paid, we got our stickers for the CP and then walked around the World.

We stopped in Japan for awhile and then kept on walking.

Once we got passed Canada, we headed to the Land.

We wanted to see the gingerbread display, and I was to say, it was pretty dumb. I thought it would be better.

A pin board was out down by Sunshine Seasons so I went to trade and I found an awesome Halloween pin that had SUCH a Tokyo Disney feel to it and I just had to have it.

Then we went to meet Chip and Dale because I can’t get enough of them.

And yes, those are Haunted Mansion wallpaper leggings. Get on moi’s level.

It was almost time for the CP so we walked on over to the American Gardens Theater.

We were in line and these old people idiots were trying to cut in front of us that were just off to the side. They had stickers but they just thought that they someone would let them in and wouldn’t care so they wouldn’t have to wait in line. You guys will see more of this later…

We got a pretty good spot for the show.

Steven Curtis Chapman was the narrator, and I had no clue who he was. He was really good though and we enjoyed him. I mean, you really can’t screw up the narration though.

December 25th (part 2): That time that I found out that being pushed up against a construction wall is not very fun

Here are like two more pictures from CP so yeah.

GUYSSS. NO ONE PASSED OUT. Not a single person. We were SHOCKED. We did notice that they don’t turn those ridiculously bright lights on as much anymore so I guess that is a good thing.

After we left the theater, we went clockwise around WS.

There were a lot of people…

We got to Morocco and traffic was just stopped.

With the construction walls up, it just makes getting through there worse. And of course everyone was watching the stupid belly dancer so that was another problem.

There were about three lanes of traffic going to Japan, and just one coming from, and of course we were coming from. There were so many people in that little area that it was a ridiculous. No one could move or get through Morocco because so many people were coming at us.

So I was pushed up against the construction wall for Spice Road Table and we had this idiot behind us that was pushing so Mum turned around and was yelling at him to knock it off and he was like “oh I am getting pushed too” and was cracking up. Idiot.

Now, I get freaked out when I am in a large crowd and can’t move anywhere, and being pushed up against a construction wall didn’t help very much.

At least I wasn’t the woman who was screaming “I AM GOING TO DIE!” at the top of her lungs.

The thing that kills moi is that not a single CM or manager was directing traffic. Like WHY IS THAT.

It took us a total of almost 20 minutes to get from Japan to France because of the crowds. Ughhhhh.

We needed a reward after that so we went to the Refreshment Port and GOT THE CRONUT.

Guys, literally the best thing EVER. It was pretty much incredible and we were dying over its awesomeness.

Christmas tree bokeh, duh.

We looked around Mouse Gear for a few and I spotted this. Like, why didn’t I get it.

And um these are awesome. (car decals)

We decided to head out of the park because I couldn’t take the crowds anymore.

For my twin.

We walked on over to the WL bus stop because I wanted to visit my house on Christmas.

So we got to the bus stop and we were the only ones there until this old couple got there.

Mum and moi were at the front of the queue waiting to get on the bus when it got there and we were leaned against the metal bar thingys that make up the queue. Mum was showing moi something on her phone while we waited for the people on the bus to get off.

And then all of a sudden the old couple just cut right in front of us and walked on the bus and we were like “WHAT THE CRAP WAS THAT?!” Like, we weren’t standing there waiting or anything!

So yeah. Old people in FL are all idiots and think that they are entitled to everything. It happens all. the. time.

We got to WL and they had free cookies and lemonade out YES!

I looked at the pin book and there were so many good pins AHHH.

I bought a few charms at the gift shop for my bracelet and for my twin’s bracelet and then we took the elevator up to whatever floor so we could chill and I could have feels.

Our usual spot was taken so we just walked up like one more floor and found another fireplace to chill by.

I can’t get over the decorations at my house.

After I died and we chilled, we took a bus back to Epcot and headed on home.​

Yes, they sell the bracelets and they are $10 I think (don't quote moi on that) and the charms are $5 a piece (I know that for a fact).​

December 28th: Cronuts and characters and cranky CMs

We had to get a bunch of stuff done in the morning so we didn’t really have a ton of time to go to the parks, but we wanted another cronut so we went to Epcot.

The crowds really weren’t that bad, just the rides had long waits.

Getting a cronut was our first order of business.

I CANT GET ENOUGH OF YOU.

We ate our cronuts and walked clockwise around WS.

Italy was all set for New Year’s Eve. Like ew.

When we got to America, the choir for CP was coming out so we stopped and watched them.

Blair Underwood was narrating and Mum wanted to watch so we had a not so wonderful view from the back of the theater.

After we made the loop around WS, we went to the Character Spot because I wanted to meet my friends. The wait said 10 minutes, but we waited about 20.

The characters were kinda dull but whatever. I have met them before and all.

In between meeting the characters, I got yelled at by a very cranky CM for not staying on the yellow carpet. Like, are you for real lady?!

We looked around Mouse Gear for a few and then left because Mum had to be at work the next day.​
