November 16th (part 2): Christmastime at the Camp

Here are some more pictures from the parade.

On our way over to Camp Minnie Mickey, we stopped and looked at Dug and Russell’s new meet and greet. It is at the same place but they put stuff on the walls and OMG love.

And then I saw this woman with a Charlie and Lola backpack and I DIED. Like, we used to love that show. And when I say used to I mean like a year ago. #fiveyearsold

Camp M&M at Christmastime is the best thing ever.

November 16th (part 3): "This cookie tastes like sh**!"

We made our way out of the park at this point.

AK’s Christmas tree >>>>

We drove over to DTD and this was the sight as we pulled up. Pretty, I know.

After about 10 years trying to find a parking spot, we checked out WoD for a few.

I am kind in love with the decorations over at Marketplace. Like everything is decorated.

They put up the new princess looks on the banners in the princess section of WoD. Um ew. BUT THOSE DECORATIONS.

Santa was meeting outside and his chalet is kinda decorated perfectly.

Perfect bokeh.

OLAF!!!!

The DTD tree is so pretty.

Of course, we went to WPE for dinner.

THEIR TREE IS AMAZING.

And we actually got something different on this night. YES YES CALM DOWN I KNOW IT IS A SHOCKER. Of course we had to get one of our regulars (the mac and cheese) but I just HAD to try the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I was pretty much in love to say the least.

And btw I sat next to a mini Christmas tree during this meal. It was pretty awesome.

After we ate, we headed over to the Marketplace bus stop.

I can’t take the window displays.

We took a bus over to the G Flo to see if any more decorations went up. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

I found an Orange Bird charm there and had a HEART ATTACK. Seriously, cutest thing ever. So I got it. Duh.

Then we took the monorail over to the Contemporary and I basically died. DIED I TELL YOU. So I knew that they have a Mary Blair inspired gingerbread tree since I saw it last year, but THOSE TREATS.

Oh you know. FIVE LEGGED GOAT RICE KRISPIE TREATS. NO BIGGIE.

Pretty much in love with this tree.

I mean, I already have a crazy obsession with Mary Blair but THOSE TREATS AND THAT TREE KILLED MOI. LITERALLY. I COULDN’T DEAL. AT ALL.

We went into BVG and they had a huge poster board you could write on to wish Mickey and Minnie a happy birthday.

My message. Duh.

We just had to get a treat before we left even though I didn’t want to eat those precious treats CAUSE THEY ARE SO CUTE but it had to happen. So we got the cookie with the monorail and SMALL WORLD LITTLE PEOPLE. We sat down in the Contempo Café and ate the cookie.

Mum: “This cookie tastes like sh**! We paid for cute though, not for taste.”

That’s the truth.

It was getting pretty late, so we went down to the bus stop to get a bus back to DTD.

Before we drove home, we stopped in Once Upon a Toy. And I did some modeling with a Marie plush that had a ridiculously long tail. Hot, I know.

Saying hi to the giant Duffster—that is what I call him btw—was a necessity so that is what I did.

We’re cute.

AND UM DUFFY HAS A SANTA OUTFIT SO BASICALLY DYING.

After browsing and dying over toys, we drove home.​

November 23rd: A quick trip to my Kingdom, CHRISTMAS, and a movie

We spent the morning at Theme Park Connection since it was their grand re-opening and they were giving away a DISNEY CRUISE.

And of course, we didn’t win.

After hanging around there for like four hours, we drove over to MK.

The point of this trip over there was to get the Jingle Cruise poster that had for Limited Time Magic. And to get ice cream. #dislife

We went straight to Adventureland.

They seemed to have a ton of posters when we got there but they were totally gone an hour later. #limitedtimemagic

Next stop: The Plaza.

We both got the American Dream—finally figured out which sundae it is—and pigged out.

We looked around in the Emporium for a few.

These magnets are SO AMAZING but I don’t think they are worth it for $13. At all.

We headed out of the park and took the monorail over to the G Flo.

The Mickey wreath was up at the Contemporary!

Poly construction update: walkway into the Seven Seas Lagoon. Can you say BUNGALOWS?!

Once we got off at the G Flo, BAM CHRISTMAS!

Of course, I lied down (is that correct grammar? Who knows…) on the floor to take pictures of the tree. And people were LAUGHING at moi. How rude.

We headed over to the bus stop to catch a bus to DTD. Reindeer pic first tho.

A bus was already there so we basically sprinted and got on so YAY!

We got off at the Marketplace. These topiaries are the cutest.

We headed straight down to West Side and AMC.

BOKEH!

Splitsville is nicely decorated for the holidays.

We already got movie tickets for Catching Fire in advance, so we picked them right up and went inside!

The movie was really good, better than the first one I think.

After it got over, we went into that Vinylmation store whose name is totally escaping moi right now. But anyways, they had SO much Hipster Mickey stuff. Like, I am in love with Hipster Mickey and all of Jerrod Maruyama’s prints so this was heaven. I got two postcards that were pretty cheap and I in love with them.

We took a bus back to the G Flo and we had these RIDICULOUS people on our bus and I couldn’t stop laughing. First of all, they were saying that Walt died in his early 50s, the G Flo was “too stuffy” aka WHERE THEY WERE STAYING, and then they thought breakfast on the “meal plan” counted as a snack. And here comes the best one.

They thought that you could see giraffes out of your window. At the Wilderness Lodge.

BAHAHAHHA STUPID GUESTS.

Once we got back to the G Flo, we tried to find Gasparillas. I had never been there before and Mum was trying to say that she knew where it was. Now, she doesn’t know where anything is so I doubted her.

She made fun of moi for the rest of the night because I didn’t know where it was…. She is a poop.

It was midnight at this point and we hadn’t eaten dinner yet so we just got something quick. Moi, a turkey sandwich, and Mum, a flatbread.

After we ate, we headed back into the main lobby to catch the monorail to the TTC.

Of course, I had to take more pictures before we could leave.

The monorail was PACKED cause MK had just closed so that was fun.

We got in line for the tram, and I am sorry but they only say five people per row only like 10000000 times. NOT EIGHT PEOPLE YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!​

November 28th (part 1): Our Thanksgiving breakfast in the Hundred Acre Wood!

It was Thanksgiving day. I have OCD with being on time/getting to places early and I wanted to get to MK pretty early because of the crowds. We had never been to MK on a huge holiday like this, so I wasn’t sure how it was going to be.

We got to the TTC at 8:30 and the parking lot wasn’t horrible, neither was the tram.

Disney was expecting crowds though.

And I just have to say, IT WAS SO COLD. The low was like 35 and UM THAT IS REALLY COLD FOR FLORIDA. I know I am going to get so many eye rolls from certain people up north, but I WAS FREEZING.

And um bag check and the turnstiles were not even busy…? Weird.

We walked down Main St and walked through the castle.

The tents weren’t up yet for DAWM so that meant I COULD GET PICS DOWN MAIN ST!

We headed into New Fantasyland and checked out the new DVC booth. The theming is so amazing.

There was a REALLY nice CM there and we talked to him for like 30 minutes. Seriously, that is nothing new for us.

We walked to Frontierland and I did some pin trading.

Then we checked in early for our ADR at Crystal Palace!

They had hot chocolate outside for everyone waiting. And it was GOOD.

We were called in about 5 minutes and I felt so bad for the CM who had to pronounce our last name. She had to ask another CM how to say it and then totally butchered it. Sorry, blame my father.

We were seated on the right side and this is what I wrote about our waitress:

“Our waitress is a train wreck.”

Now, usually, every waiter or waitress we have had at CP have been great. You can tell that they love their job. This one on the other hand… Ugh. She had no personality whatsoever, didn’t smile once, and did NOT have the Disney Look. Her hair was a mess and she was wearing BLUE and PURPLE eyeliner. I’m sorry, but where is your manager. She was awful.

Eeyore was almost at our table when we sat down so we waited for him before getting food.

Like always, he was so cute.

We went up to get our first plate and pigged out. Oh my god everything was so good. I was in heaven.

Next up was Mr. Piglet.

We are so cute, let’s be real now.

Then Pooh came and this was some of the best character interaction I have ever had right here, my friends.

Pooh didn’t notice my shirt at first so I was like “YO POOH MY SHIRT!” This bear, oh my god. He FLIPPED OUT. He was so excited and I couldn’t stop laughing. He was practically jumping up and down, pointing at my shirt, and he was showing his character attendant. And he kept giving moi hugs and kisses. COULDN’T BREATHE. I was dying.

Then he wanted us to do the same pose as my shirt. I was dead.

Moral of the story: where a pooh shirt to CP. The end.

After I died, we went up to get more food.

Then Tigger came and he was so energetic. He was so awesome.

We went into Tomorrowland after we left.

You know it is busy when the Tomorrowland Terrace is open.

I think we went on the TTC and then I danced with Chip at Club 626. #dislife

We headed back to Main St because the crowds were starting to pick up but then the Move it, Shake it, I Can’t Stand It! parade was going on and Mum wanted to watch it (?!?!). Ridiculous.

At least Mickey is cute.

He was gettin’ DOWNNNNNN.

November 28th (part 2): Lounging at the Lodge aka my house, WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL

More pictures from that stupid parade.

BUT DALE.

We headed out at this point and took the monorail over to the Poly.

CHRISTMAS!

My tiki friend is ready for Christmas.

We then went outside to check out the mysterious walkway.

Seriously, bungalows.

My survey marker friend was not enjoying the construction.

We grabbed a drink at Captain Cook’s, played some air hockey, and then asked the DVC CM about the bungalows. He said he had “no clue” but could tell us that they would be part of DVC. So basically bungalows.

We took the monorail over to the Contemporary so we could take a boat from there to my house.

Ready for decoration spam?! YEAH YOU ARE!

In love.

And then we just sat by the fire on the 3rd floor for about 45 minutes. Doing nothing. It was heavenly. And I made myself VERY comfortable on this couch. It is my house after all.

Before we left to get back to MK, we stopped at Roaring Forks to get a snack.

Mum got a cupcake that looked like it had a poop on the top.

And I got the magic cookie bar which was like awesome.

Once we got to MK, we took the monorail to the TTC. We were volunteering at Give Kids the World for dinner so we needed to head over there.​

Isn't it funny the conversations you overhear?? I say this in regards to your comment about the silly guests that had all of the wrong info. When we were at Hollywood Studios before our cruise, we heard something funny. As we were leaving the park, we passed a group of people. They were all standing around wondering out loud where the monorail was. DS and I cracked up laughing. It was so funny.

November 30th (part 1): Checking into the Boardwalk

After being stuck in traffic for ALMOST TWO HOURS ON I-4, we finally got to the Boardwalk.

The CM at the gate was from a town in MA that was very close to where we lived, so we backed up the line because we chatted with him for like 20 minutes. Oh well.

We parked and then headed in.

CHRISTMAS!

Sorry not sorry for the decoration spam.

We were staying over for one night cause why not, so we checked in and our room was ready.

We were SO close to the lobby, which was pretty awesome.

Now, I have to say, this is my least favorite DVC room. The resort itself is fantastic and the theming is perf, but I am not a fan of the rooms. They don’t have much detail, and the paint colors are just pretty tacky. I think these rooms need a refurb. Like now. They just don’t live up to the rest of the resort.

Our view was very nice though.

After I took pictures, we headed out to the actual boardwalk for some lunch.

We went to the Pizza window and each got a slice of cheese.

I have heard from several people that the pizza here is just so amazing. It didn’t live up to the hype though. I mean, it was better than regular Disney pizza, but still not incredible.

We went back to our car, got our bags, brought them up to our room, and then walked over to Epcot.

I agree its weird how lame the rooms are at the Boardwalk when the rest of the resort is so beautiful. I do love the Christmas garland they put up, we were there this past weekend and it was beautiful!
