June 15th (part 2): The #DuffyFangirls

After we got off Living with the Land, we walked over to the Imagination Pavilion so Mum and Meg could fangirl over Michael Jackson aka fun times to be had.

The carpet was cool though.

After that….experience got over, we went to First Aid so I could get some band aids for the wonderful blisters on my feet.

And then it was time to meet the DUFFSTER.

Can we talk about how the cute little Asians that were on the bus were in the line the same time we were? Us Asians got to stick together, ya know?

Duffy loved my Asian buddies of course.

Duffy had to leave for a cookie break. Literally. He stopped at the coffee place next to Duffy Central (which has been taken over by World Cup merch WHAT THE CRAP) and it was perfect. Meg got a picture so she will be putting that on here TR which you can find HERE YOU’RE WELCOME!

We read about Duffy’s story while we waited, which we already knew of course because Duffy is life.

“It looks like a puppy lying down.”

But can we talk about the bow that I was wearing on this day.

Duffy came back and IT WAS TIME TO MEET THE DUFFSTER YAYAYYAYA!

Meg wanted to buy chopsticks in China so that is what she did. I looked around at random stuff in there in the meantime.

After Meg bought her chopsticks, we continued on our tour of the world.

June 15th (part 3): "...there is no bar inside!"

Next stop was Germany and since Meg had never been to Karamell Kuche before, it was mandatory that we went.

We all got the same thing and that was the chewy caramel bar because that thing is heaven on earth.

We were sitting right next to Der Teddy Bar and this guy went into the store and then came out and said to his family “the sign says bar but there is no bar inside!” And he was dead serious. #stupidguests

We continued walking and our next stop was Japan because we were doing pick a pearl! This was Mum’s birthday present to Meg (even though her birthday is in March). Mum bought us both the Cinderella Coach necklaces off of ebay since they are only five bucks on there compared to like $45 in the store.

We got our number and waited all of like 5 minutes since barely anyone else was in there, which is pretty shocking.

I don’t even know.

This is a very serious business.

Meg got a grayish pearl, which is pretty rare! I just got a plan white one. Our pearls were both 7mm. #twinz

We went outside and put our pearls in the cages and put them on.

We stopped in Morocco next because we just HAD to take a picture with my BF, Henry.

Sadly, there was only one fez out so I had to wear some weird hat. It was lovely.

We also took a selfie with Henry and why haven’t I seen that, twin?!

We were on our way to France and Meg thought that she left her phone in Morocco because that is what we took the selfie with. She ran back and I said to Mum “I should’ve just called it. It is probably in her backpack somewhere.” And it was. #logic

We made our way to Future World because our FP for Mission: Space was coming up.

I just told Meg to go on because I get really claustrophobic.

We waited in the dump shop for her and then we did one of those green screen things and I never got the email of it! Or maybe I did and I just didn’t see it because I have like 3000 emails in my inbox and they are all junk mail.

We went to the Seas and went on the ride.

After we found Nemo or whatever, we watched this guy.

Then we looked at the manatees and other sea life.

And by sea life I mean GOOFY!

Turtle Talk was just starting when we went downstairs and we made it in. Perfect timing!

The show was the same as always but this kid that was talking to Crush said something like “this is the most awkward moment of my life.” I can’t.

After Turtle Talk ended, we got eaten by Bruce.

Peace out, dudes.

Actually, we made it out alive. To celebrate that, we did the Great Piggy Bank Adventure. #livinitup

Of course, we saved up for a vacation aka Aulani.

We got our stickers and then we went over to Spaceship Earth for our FP.

We had changed the time earlier in the day because we were chilling in WS and for some reason, it never updated mine, so when I scanned my MB, it said I was three hours late. Yeah, ok. The CM let me through though.

June 15th (part 4): #fillupwithchippies part uno

Before I start this chapter, I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who reads my TR because I hit 100,000 views on Sunday and that is just awesome! Whether you are a lurker who never comments or one of my dedicated readers, thank you!

Before we headed to our ADR, I had to do an outfit change because… well you will see. It was mandatory.

I WAS SO EXCITED!

We were led to our table and we were on the first floor.

After a few months, the restaurant was finally turning again! Just in time for yours truly.

Right after we sat down, Dale came over. He was freaking out over my bow and my shirt. I told you guys that it was mandatory to change.

Well I look cute here wow.

Meg and Dale. He kept dissing Meg and wouldn’t sign her book. HOW RUDE!

And then my CHIPPY CAME OVER! I told him that he was my favorite. He also loved my shirt and bow.

Of course we had to do a selfie.

After the Chippy Fest ended for the time being, we got food!

These rolls were amazing.

I just loved this salad. The dressing was awesome. And let’s just say that this will be important later on…

The main entrée came out soon after and um duh, we got the kids food. BUT GUYS. MAC AND CHEESE WITH GOLD FISH >>>

The “regular” food. Everything was really good, I have to say. The fish tasted a little fishy, but that is my only complaint.

June 15th (part 5): #fillupwithchippies part dos/That one time that I threw up in a bubblah. At my lodge.

The next character that came around was Farmer Mickey!

DUH.

And then this happened.

TEARS.

Dale came around again and dissed Meg once again!

At least we got a selfie.

And then Pluto came by!

My boyfriend came by again.

We love each other.

And then we needed more food.

DA NOMS.

We also got more stuffing, turkey, and mashed potatoes.

Mickey came by again and asked why I wasn’t wearing anything with him on it. I had to pinky promise that I would wear a mickey shirt next time.

Pluto said hi one more time.

We told our waitress, Stacey (who was AMAZING btw), that we didn’t want the berry cobbler because ew so we got the children’s dessert!

LETS LISTEN TO THE LAND!

I have to say, I LOVED Garden Grill. The food was fantastic and the character interaction was great. I would love to go back sometime! #fillupwithchippies

PUMBA!

We got outside and it was pouring, so we put on our wonderful ponchos. And of course Mum complained because she had her dollar store poncho.

The rain was off and on, but we went into World Showcase anyways.

We stopped in China, where we looked at random things and got the Duffy on a stick thing and got our names on them. The CM found it very interesting that both of our names are Meg. #twinprobz

While we were doing that, a rat almost ran over Mum’s foot so there’s that.

We made our way over to Japan so we could set up for Illuminations.

We started talking to the people next to us and they asked us how me and Meg knew each other. UM HAHAHAHAHA.

I had been checking the radar because it still had been raining and there was some lightning. It looked like it would clear up just in time for Illuminations so we kept our fingers crossed.

They made an announcement at 9:05 saying that it would be delayed and then five minutes after that, another announcement was made saying Illuminations was canceled. Awesome.

We packed up our tripods and made our way towards the International Gateway.

Me and Meg were going to #liveitup so we said bye to Mum and then walked to the Beach Club so we could take a bus to DTD. We had to pick up our shirts. We also went into WoD while we were there.

AND AND AND we got our #dislife bracelets. Of course they couldn’t put a hashtag. This is why we can’t have nice things.

We then took the WL and G Flo bus because we were going to MK for EMH.

While we were standing in line for the bus, my stomach started feeling weird. I didn’t know why it felt so sick. Of course, I started getting anxious. Whenever I am in a public place and start feeling sick, I tend to get really anxious. And the anxiety did not help because I started to feel worse. I thought that maybe sitting on the bus in the AC would help. I also had some water.

I asked Meg if we could get off at WL.

I went to the bathroom and I could tell that my stomach was not feeling so hot. I went to the bathroom and it was bad because of the stomach issue. #TMITuesday

I was getting really anxious and that just led to me throwing up. #TMITuesday

I went back out to the lobby where Meg was and told her what happened. After like two seconds, I felt like I was going to throw up again. The closest thing was Mum’s $8 poncho from WDW that she was letting me use, so I threw up into that. #TMITuesday.

I ran back to the bathroom and couldn’t even make it, so I threw up in a bubbler. Yes, a bubblah.

I could really go into detail about what came out of my mouth and how it couldn’t fit into the bubbler drain, but we won’t go there right now. #TMITuesday

I went back into the bathroom and cleaned myself up. I also threw the $8 Disney poncho away, because duh.

I went back out to the lobby and sat down for a few. I knew I needed to go back to AKL.

I felt really bad because we had been looking forward to MK EMH for the longest time but I was not up for going to a park after I just threw up about 4 times. And one of those times in a bubblah.

(Btw, that bubblah was the one next to WCC by the bathrooms so don’t use it)

I told Meg that she could just go to MK if she wanted. She wanted to meet Libby aka @solonglibby and I didn’t want to ruin her time. I would just go back to AKL by myself.

We took the bus from WL to MK and I took the bus back to AKL. Thank GOD it was already there because I didn’t feel like waiting whatsoever. I just wanted to go to bed and change.

The woman across from me on the bus asked when we got to Kidani if that was the stop for Jambo.

But she didn’t say Jambo.

She said Jambow. So, Jam (like the stuff you put on toast) and bow (like what you out in your hair). So Jambow. I couldn’t help but laugh and I tried to hold it in.

I got off at JAMBOW and headed up to the room.

I told Mum what happened and I got changed and everything and went to bed. I needed the rest.​

June 16th (part 1): The tale of the #barfsalad

I had set the alarm for around 8, which is wicked late for us. I thought if I “slept in” then I would be good to go. I woke up and still felt pretty sick. I told Meg to just go to the park instead of waiting around for yours truly. I just needed to chill for a little bit and take it slow.

Because I still felt so sick, Mum had to cancel our ADR at Trail’s End for that night because I knew that I couldn’t eat any of that food. Thankfully, the woman on the phone understood and didn’t charge us. I felt bad because I knew Meg really wanted to go, but I couldn't do it.

Meg went to AK and Mum went down to the Mara to get me some toast, applesauce, a banana, and crackers. They only put out crackers at lunch for soup and stuff but a CM gave her a ton. Thank you, CM!

There wasn’t a plug in the kitchenette so Mum had to make toast on the ground. #livinitup

I had the toast and some crackers and watched What Not to Wear, but the kid next door kept screaming. THANKS IDIOT.

Mum went back home to feed the cat and clean up whatever mess she had made. It took 5evah, let’s just say that.

In the meantime, I chilled in bed, watched some TV, but then I noticed some animals were outside so I went out to see them.

….and meg wasn’t even there to see this.

Mum called when she was on her way back so I hopped in the shower and got ready. I was feeling a little better after eating.

Mum got back and she was saying that she didn’t feel so hot when she got back to the room the night before. Her stomach felt weird and she had to go to the bathroom because of that. #TMInotTuesday

I was thinking about how we only felt weird and Meg was fine. We had eaten all of the same food that day…. And then we remembered.

Meg never ate any of the salad at Garden Grill. She ate everything else though. She said that the dressing on the salad didn’t sound good to her so she never ate any of it. And there I was eating two plate fulls of it.

So guys, we think it was the salad. But she also didn’t have any of the butter that came with the bread, which I loved too.

It was either the #barfsalad, or the butter that made us sick. It could’ve been something like they left the salad out for too long. Something like that that made us sick. Now this wasn’t full on food poisoning. It wasn’t even food poisoning at all. Something was just wrong with the salad and/or the butter. And I think I just threw up because I was so anxious. Mum just felt kinda iffy all night.

Anyways…

After I finished getting ready, we headed down to the bus stop so we could go to AK.

We didn’t wait long for a bus, and then we were on our way.

June 16th (part 2): Back to the parks I go!

We met up with Meg by Kilimanjaro because our FP was gonna expire and we needed to use it.

ANIMAL TIME!

GIRAFFE!!!!

I was shocked to see so many animals out. I mean, most of them were chilling there, but still. It was really hot out.

After we got off KS, we went to First Aid because I needed more band aids for my blistahs. I was falling apart.

Then we headed over to Asia for our next FP.

Before our FP, I got some soft serve vanilla ice cream and we sat down near the bathrooms in Asia.

I told Mum and Meg that they could just go on Everest because I didn’t want to risk not feeling well again.

I went into the dump shop and looked around.

We need these.

Meg texted me and said that they hadn’t even gotten into the queue yet because the FP line was so long. I decided at the last minute to YOLO it and go on.

YETI TIME!

I had on my 50mm so I really couldn’t get a pic of our ride photo but we did the exact same pose and we didn’t even plan it. #twinz

It was time for our FotLK FP so we went back over to Africa.

My fellow DISer/twitter friend Shelly was at MK on this day and she wanted to meet up so we met up in front of 7DMT and talked for a little bit. It was great to see her!

Now I know what you guys met by barf salad at GG. I will definitely skip out on that and it really does't take much to talk me out of eating healthy.
I'm sorry you were so sick though! Being sick like that is bad enough, a disney trip that you were looking forward too for so long is even worse!! Sounds like sleeping in and relaxing was the right choice and What Not To Wear. I didn't know they still have that.
