Before I actually start the Disney portion of this chapter, I think it would be a good time to update yall on being a Floridian.
One word: interesting.
I mean, I like living down here but it is very different to say the least.
Lets start on one thing at a time.
School: You will see in this chapter how starting school went, but so far, ok. I was having a very hard time the first few weeks of school and am getting better now. The work is fine and all, but other things. I am enjoying it and it is a very different atmosphere than my old school. And I am taking some good classes, and then others I just want to lose it in because of reasons. Ex: annoying accents, and kids who dont have a clue. But thats like 2 or 3 classes, so its all good for the most part.
Mum: She likes it down here, but she is still on the search for a job. She has applied for A TON of places and has had several interviews but hasnt gotten a job yet. I know she will get one very soon though! Wish her luck, guys!!
Condo: Our condo is very nice and quiet for the most part. Except when the horses come that live above us that use it as a vacation home
? And other than that, we have only had one incident when some druggie jumped out of his second story condo and decided to run down in front of our condo and then the police came, and oh my god. It was ridiculous. But, other than that, its been good
I really cant think of anything else at the moment, so yeah. If you have any questions for some reason, just ask moi.
Lets get on with Disney!
August 16th: Cause after you have a bad day, you go to DTD.
I had a bad day at school.
It was my first day and it was a Friday (since I got registered late), which is great cause I dont think I couldve gone back the next day.
I was overwhelmed. Thats all. I come from a REGIONAL school with a class of about 200 to a class about 500-600 and about 2,200 kids at the school. With 13 different buildings. I was just overwhelmed and could barely handle it.
So once Mum picked moi up at school, I broke down crying.
Do you want to go to Downtown Disney?
UM YES.
So we drove there and pretty soon, I was all better.
We parked down at Pleasure Island and then walked over to the Marketplace.
I was hungry, so my after school snack was a mickey bar. And mum got an ice cream sandwich.
(sorry for the crappy pics. Mum forgot to bring my camera so I had to use my ipod).
After we finished our snack, we checked out Disney Infinity since they were releasing it early at DTD. Then we went into Once Upon a Toy and talked to a CM named Sam who was doing her CP and she was very nice. She told us to come back and visit!
Then I went to pin trade at the DVC desk and the CM was telling us about a members event at SSR for the G Flo villas and he said it included food so I was like WHERE DO I SIGN UP?!
We headed out to the bus stop and got a bus to SSR, which took about 10 years, seriously.
We headed inside, checked in, and then got free food and full size drinks. That food was GOOD, especially the chicken tenders.
I made my way back up to the food (duh) and when I was heading back to where Mum was sitting, I was making my way through the crowd of people and saw someone who looked extremely familiar and I basically almost crashed into ONE OF THE DISNEY FRUMPS.
I was like Kristen?! Oh my god! and inside I was like HOLY CRAP I AM MEETING ONE OF THE FRUMPS. It was just really funny cause we tried to meet up at MK and now here I am with my mouth full of food, and freaking out cause UM KRISTEN AKA THE DISNEY FRUMP.
We talked for a while, and Mum was wondering where the crap I disappeared to. UM A REAL LIVE DISNEY FRUMP, MUM. KINDA IMPORTANT.
Her family was buying points at the G FLO so her and her sister Sarah were just walking around and stuff. So we talked for a while and then I finally went back over to Mum and we talked some more. Cause when you stick two Disney lovers in a room, its insane.

We said goodbye and then Mum and I went to check out the villas again since thats what the event was for. I really just wanted the food and then leave but the G Flo villas are pretty amazing
After we looked at the most amazing villas again, we headed to the Artists Palette and I did some pin trading.
Then we headed down to the boat and caught it back to DTD. When we got there, we walked along the water on West Side and it was really pretty. Like no one was down there.
We caught a bus to Art of Animation to get some dinner.
Both of us got the make your own pasta, and it was really good but it had WAY too much garlic.
We also got a cupcake to bring home, cause that is very important.
After we finished eating, we headed to the bus stop and a DTD bus was already there so we hopped on. When we got there, we looked around in several stores and then headed home.
I felt all better after that ♥
