Multiple people - one MDE or everyone get their own MDE?

I have 4 people goign to DW late Feb/early March. My DD, her BFF, and BFF's fiancee, all are adults. Is it better to link everyone's ticket to one MDE account (probably mine), or is there some reason why it would be better to have everyone on their own MDE? We do plan to stick together at least most of the time, but does everyone being on one MDE lock us into some inflexibility somehow? For instance, if 2 of us want an ADR at one restaurant but the other 2 want an ADR at another restaurant, does that cause problems if we are on one MDE?

If anyone in that group is going to go to Disney on their own at another point in time, I'd recommend they have their own accounts or at least not be on your account. If your daughter is fine being a managed profile, that's the only one I think makes sense to be under your account.

In 5 years do you really want to have those other people lingering as ghost profiles in your account?

IMHO, if they are not your spouse, parents or minor children, they probably should have their own MDE account.

When you add someone to your Family & Friends list that has their own MDE account, you need to select the option to Plan & Share with them. When you select that option, you enter the email address they used to create their MDE account. Once they accept the friend request, you can make plans for them. Those plans can be virtual boarding groups, Genie+, ILL$, ADRs, etc.

We have the same situation, and I wasn't sure what to do either. The "kids" are DS20 and his gf, and DS18 and his longtime friend/now gf, plus me and DH. Our kids have always been on our account (we haven't been for 3 years) and the girls have both been before, one several times, and are both listed on their parents' account.

Should I have them each create their own account and then add as our friends/family, or just leave it as it is? We are staying off-site and will be buying tickets soon. Some of us have old magic bands, one is buying a new one and the rest are just going to use mobile magic.

When the trip is over, you can delete individuals from F&F. Remember they can see your plans if they are on your F&F and you are sharing plans. We didn't realize this until a friend started asking about our upcoming trips that we hadn't discussed with them.

There are two sharing options, All or Shared Plans only. If you set it to Shared Plans only, they should only see plans they are part of.

Definitely separate accounts for many reason. One of which is mobile order, it 1 person wants a dole whip they shouldn't have to ask someone to order for them.

I would have them have separate accounts like said here. What I am planning on doing for an upcoming trip with people that aren't super tech savvy and have not been to Disney before is using an incognito browser, setting up the accounts for them with emails I've created for them (so I can accept the F&F invites), setting myself up under F&F, then giving them the log ins to use during the trip.

I realize this is a lot of work on my end and sounds a bit crazy but it gives me peace of mind that I will be able to manage all of our plans and reservations. If they need to use the accounts in the future once they understand how everything works or if the want they can change the email over to their own emails and manage their own accounts.
