Planning a trip to visit all 4 parks in 3 days. It will be a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday in mid-September. That means I'll need to pick 1 park to only do in the afternoon(s).

I understand that with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, your 3 initial selections each day need to be in the same park. That said, which park do you think makes the most sense to save for the afternoon(s), meaning there will still be lightning lane availability, or the lines will be short enough that it doesn't matter? Thank you!

I consistently saw Spaceship Earth, Soarin, Figment, Living with the Land, Nemo with availability all afternoon at Epcot after hopping over. But, if you want Remy or Frozen, you might be out of luck. I did manage to get Remy on a hopping day, but that was because two of us were refreshing A LOT. So Epcot might be good idea to do afternoon. And then if you can, buy a LL single pass for Guardians if you don't plan to be there at 1pm for the Virtual Que. Also Epcot might be good for your afternoon/evening choice because the new nighttime show will be happening at 9pm.

You may find you don’t need LLMP at all. We’ve been here for the past 10 days and haven’t needed it, especially Epcot and AK.

Eg we’re at DHS today and at 12:00 Rise is 40 mins! Mid Sep is often quieter too.

As PP said, mid-September really does help with this predicament.

I might consider using a day where you start at AK with no LLMP and prebook those for whatever your second park is. The benefit of this is that you can have three LLMP in the bag to start your afternoon. The drawback is that, since you won't have tapped into an LLMP in AK, you can't start fiddling with your reservations, pick up double Tier 1s, etc, until you tap into the second park.

Otherwise, I would say AK is the park I would do as an afternoon-only, except it tends to close earlier than the others. So, maybe you start somewhere else first thing, hop to AK for midday, and then you can hop again if another park is open later. Maybe do this on Monday or Wednesday, so that you can finish AK and then hop to MK to see HEA (if that's something you want to see) and MK will be open latest that evening.
