Multi-home owners, how are your points distributed?

We love all 3 of our home resorts.

SSR was our first, 100 points resale that came with a very loaded contract. We consider these SAP+

CCV 75 resale points to use exclusively at WL with banking and borrowing.

AKV 104 points resale for value and concierge, but also SAP+

There may be another 100-150 points in our future, but not yet. We have only been members just over a year and we’re considering if one direct contract is worth it to us…
 

Looking for another small BWV contract but they are really hard to find in Oct UY.
They are hard to find in any UY. Same goes for BCV. We wanted to add an Epcot area resort and we looked around for a few months to find a Feb UY contract at either resort that was the size we wanted and at a reasonable price. Ended up just getting 100 points direct at RRV.

To this point our decisions have been heavily weighted towards location. If...When we do add more I expect it to be some combination of AKL (family favorite) or VGF with RIV, SSR and AUL being dark horse options.

24% VDH Second add on. Not happy about TOT, but now BiCoastal. Closer to home.

Thinking about buying into VGC on resale market. NO TOT! Wonder if any other DVC properties will be built during Disneyland Forward. Any rumors out there?

We are about 50/50 direct and resale, but all our resale are unrestricted:
BLT <20%
RIV 25%
VGF ~ 60%

Riviera is DH's favorite; probably mine also.
VGF is a very close second/tie. (tween/teen kids like it a lot)
BLT - my sentimental favorite but wow it needs the refurb.

DH would be happy to shed BLT and get BCV or AKV. We also thought about buying BWV and AUL and VGC. But we've been able to get all of them at 7 months, so we are in a holding pattern called:

"NO MORE BUYING DVC" (In husband's voice))

Pre-refurb BLT became SAP+ points, remains to be seen how it does after the refurb. I'm hopeful. We love California Grill and the monorail concourse in the main building.


Interested in your thoughts on RIV. We really like two of your home resorts, VGF and VGC. How does RIV compare to them?
Its theming is a little mellower and less "grand" than either of the Grands. The food is terrific and the resort and rooms layouts are well thought out.

This is an amazing portfolio. All highly desirable resorts imo.
