Multi-home owners, how are your points distributed?

It is so interesting to see how many of you have more than four resorts, with no majority of points at any one resort! I am guessing most owners with this type of point spread travel more than once per year to a DVC location.
We do 2-3 trips each year, 7 to 9 nights each in either a 1 br or 2 br (if MIL joins us).

Generally we stay at BCV in the fall and VGF or BLT in early May. When we book BLT, our plan is usually to switch out to either a bungalow or Aulani at 7 months. The VGC contract is new (bought 1/2024) and I see us going every other year.

Being able to walk to a park is our priority as evidenced by our home resort choices.

Walking right into the park is THE BEST! And walking back afterwards? Nothing beats it. I absolutely agree.

BW resale 25% - have only used at BW and likely never trade out.
VGF direct 75% - these are our SAP+ points. Love staying Grand Flo, also love low dues for trading out.

I’d like to add 75-100pts direct at Poly and just know incentives will make me buy 150pts, then I’d look at a fixed week.

100pts AKV resale is also tempting, especially if we decide against Poly2. It’s the one WDW resort I can see us content even without going to the parks, like a 4 night trip just to getaway, maybe add 1 night party ticket. I’m not completely sold yet but think it could age nicely with us. We both love that resort.

Look at you sporting the lightning lane multi pass avatar!

That's quite a spread!

19% SSR (SAP but have also stayed there post-refurb and enjoyed our stay, especially the close walk to DS)
15% BWV (top fave at WDW, adore that Boardwalk view and walking access to parks)
15% VGC (go to DLR multiple times a year, preferred over VDH for location, spa)
15% VDH (not enough points just at VGC, preferred over VGC for rooms currently, kids love the pools, Dole whip)
14% RIV (wanted a resort with easy access to Epcot after BWV expires, love the vibe and rooms)
12% VGF (always feels special to stay here, enjoy the amenities and rooms, easy access to other monorail resorts)
10% CCV (love it at Christmastime, currently don’t stay here much since less convenient at stroller age)

30% DLR home resorts
70% WDW home resorts

We go to DLR more frequently, but the WDW points cost less so we have more of them. In addition to WDW, we also use those points at Aulani and sometimes at DLR if availability works out.

Not sure if this is interesting or not, but I'm curious.

Here's mine:

VGF 64%
RIV 21%
VGC 14%
Interested in your thoughts on RIV. We really like two of your home resorts, VGF and VGC. How does RIV compare to them?
