lol, you should just get a UK/Canadian edition. We don't get the chapter illustrations at all. I've been very tempted to go to mugglenet, print the pictures and paste them into my books!

I'm the one that posted the link to the hacker story, I didn't read it though just in case there was anything in it to spoil things. But I thought some people on here might want to read it. I'm with you, I just do NOT want to know anything if by chance the hacker really did get any info. Waitin' for the actual book!

Too many times in the previous books, a surprise has been ruined for me because the illustration gives away what is going to happen in each chapter. The worst was the little pic of Snape at the beginning of the chapter where the HBP's identity was revealed. I saw that pic, and knew immediately who it was. I was like "CRAAAAP!!!"

I want to be knocked-on-my-butt surprised with Deathly Hollows.

How funny! I never look at the chapter titles or the illustrations. I recently went back and looked and realized how much is given away. I don't think I'll look in DH, though, mostly because I'll be so eager to read! The post-it notes are a good idea!

However, I am worried I might peek at the last few pages simply because of of pure excitement!

OhMyGosh!!! I can't believe it is less than 3 weeks until the movie comes out!!!!!!!!!

I think I am taking the day off work so I can go on the 11th. I can't wait!

I am soooo bummed - our local movie theatre has a list of all the upcoming movies listed, up to July 25 - and OOTP is not on the list!!!! I can only hope that it will get added in late (as has happened with a couple of other big movies), or that the drive in (which doesn't have a website) will bring it close to its U.S. release date.

We got POTC on the U.S. release date - I was really hoping we'd get OOTP too! Maybe our movie theatre doesn't see that as a big enough blockbuster to be willing to pay the high price for getting it as soon as it's released. I know they only do that with the biggest movies, because of the cost.

Do any of you Hermoine fans want this watch for either yourself or perhaps a teen daughter? I bought it because it was dirt cheap on Amazon, but once I got it I just thought it was a little too young for me. It would be great for a teen or 20-something. Just a reminder the grades are as follows:

O - Outstanding
E - Exceeds Expectations
A - Acceptable
P - Poor
D - Dreadful
T - Troll


I took the test twice, but I can only get my first code to work (maybe I need to clear my cookies??). To me its just as well as that would be the honest score. I know my grade would have gone up for the second time around only because at that point, I had more time to "think" about the answers.

I go an Acceptable! I am not going to complain!

I just read this story by Olberman. It discusses several of the topics mentioned here, but it does refer to the spoiler that was mentioned a few days ago. (he thought it was bunk too) I am a big fan of Olberman, so I thought this was fun. Even if you dont want to read the whole thing, check out the very last paragraph on page 2.

I got an exceeds expectations! I was so proud of me. I read the Oberman story. I hope it doesn't turn out that way .

For anyone that read the MTV story it may give us some clues to unravel the book covers.
