I don't think it will be a problem, but just be considerate of other guests if doing so. For example, if you have a long train, bustle the dress again, or have it shortened. Don't want to be tripping everyone! And I think wearing the veil would be a hassle, especially if it is windy. Little kids may try and tug on it too.![]()
Yeah I'm going to have my dress bustled and no veil.. I really just want to go in and take some pics in our wedding attire. I anticipate changing early on. I can't imagine spending the whole night in my gown, trying to ride the rides and all that
Thats awesome..thank you!
There is, honestly, so much to do and see at this party. You could spend the entire night:
See Mickey, Minnie, and other friends.
Get pictures with Cindy's Coach
Get castle pictures
Get Hunted Mansion Magic Shot (if they bring it back this year)
See Boo to You Parade
See HalloWishes
Meet the Villains after the Villains show
There are also several other character greetings (Pooh & Friends, Alice in Wonderland, Adventureland, and I think Country Bears-don't remember if they are only MVMCP)
I went to the party 2 years ago and needed 2 parties to even do it all.
It would all depend on how heavy your dress is and how many of these shots you want and how busy of a night it is. If it is a heavy dress, I'm not sure how fun it would be to carry it around. just my opinion.
We plan on going to 3 parties next year. 1 party I'll wear my wedding dress and DFi will wear his Pirate costume. 1 party we'll wear matching plain grey tee's and the 3rd party will be a "free" choice I'll most likely buy the Minnie witch hat and DF will re-wear his pirate costume.
You're welcome!
Also to kinda agree with the above post, my friend had already been to the party a week or two before in costume to experience everything and only went that night to get pics. However at over $50 a pop the tickets are pretty pricey for that so I suggest getting the most bang for your buck and getting to the park right at 4pm when they allow you in with the MHSSHP tix and get a ton of pics with the regular photopass photographers and then be first in line over at Toontown to knock out those photos right away and then enjoy the parade and fireworks and candy gathering the rest of the night.
Wow, I was under the impression that you were absolutley NOT allowed in the parks in wedding attire. I'm very surprised by this thread.
