MSEP & Wishes Fastpass+ Watch May

I LOVE parades and fireworks but I am short and I loath the idea of giving up hours of my park day to secure an unobstructed view, especially when last minute people wriggle around me to get in front of me. For me its worth one of my few FPs to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful parades and fireworks. It also helps I have more than one MK day so I can spread these out and not use them all in one day. We will be there at rope drop, break in the afternoons, and come back at night. This helps keep my ride lines shorter overall.

This exactly. It all comes down to how you tour and what your priorities are. I am 4'11" and I have a 3 year old. I love parades but find the so stressful I line up a early as I can but someone always comes and gets I front of me. My husband is tall and can hold my daughter but I end up looking at the parade through someone's armpit. We also do rope drop so we usually hit our high priorities first thing and I planned 3 MK days so I spread this out. Hubby is on board bc it's stressful just trying to find a place and waiting for an hour or so. But for other people it's a waste of a FP+

not sure if this has been posted yet but looks like May is open! ) just switched my hold to MSEP for May 28th yay....

debated doing this now with the 4th fp and all, but I am not holding out much hope that there will be anything truly useful later in the day anyway. Plus we still have 2 other days at MK. good luck all

So we now "need" to use up a fast pass to WATCH a parade?! OMG! I cant believe how much planning we have to do to just enjoy a day at the park. I think I need to book a fast pass to get up and get in the shower now.... or perhaps a fast pass to board the disney busses. while im "on a roll",... we might need a fast pass to use the restrooms in the parks too !! Honestly,... Im just kidding (hmm.... am i , or am i being a tad bit sarcastic)??, but I guess if you cant beat em... you wont ride em'.... !!!

YAY! Got our fast passes to watch the parade today. I don't mind using a fast pass to do this if it means a good viewing area and we don't have to line up ages ahead of time. We'll try it out this time and decide if we think it is worth it or not. I suspect it will be since May 25 is a holiday weekend. We booked a late lunch at the nearby Plaza restaurant for a nice cool sit down before we stand in the heat for the parade afterwards. This will be our 3rd fp for the day, so maybe we'll get more after that.

I was just able to get FOF for May 10th (Wishes & MSEP were options, too!)!!

For Wishes the view is not optimal but it is very good. It's on astro turf and everyone sits on the ground. !

Did you notice where they sat people on scooters?

I'm wondering if we booked wishes fastpass does anyone know if any fastpasses for the popular rides would be left after wishes if we tried to get one ? I also wanted to know how do they go about scanning your fastpass for wishes ?

Actually I think this is a good idea as long as you can get more fastpasses after the parade

Did you notice where they sat people on scooters?

I don't remember seeing people in scooters. I would suggest getting there as early as they allow. This area is very dark and with celebrate the magic they will shut off the street lamps (lack of a better word) which will make it even darker.
