Hello! Christmas gift here so hush, hush--but count our family in on the fun!

Yes please add us to the FE list--all our kids will love this. Thanks for organizing. I am going to put together a mini-treasure hunt for Christmas morning--probably will have time to just come up with 3 clues or so!--which will lead to my bathtub with a old plastic baby boat with a photo of the Wonder or something. My older kids know something is going on because it is their college vacation and I had to check plans out with them but this cruise will be shocking to all because we never thought we would get to go!

We're from Chicago area so a week in the sunshine and warmth sounds fantastic

72 days to go!! 7. We just booked a "last-minute" cruise and looking forward to it. None of us have been to Mexico before, so we're really looking forward to it.

Welcome to the group! The only excursion I did last time was the dolphin excursion in PV - my kids - then 4 & 6 - LOVED it! Then we just got off in Cabo & did a little shopping. I love taking advantage of an empty boat though

We are all set made Palo Reservations, tours , massage appointments.
Decided on Caletas trip for Puerto Vallarta and just the beach resort trip in Cabo!
Now just waiting for the trip to California!
Will be the kids first time in Original Disneyland!
Seems like the FE list is quite manageable so far!
We really have enjoyed our FE's experience on prior cruises!

Is anyone else doing Disneyland before the cruise? We are trying to decide what to do with our 2 days in Anaheim. My dd wants to do American Girl and my DH thinks that we should do DL. We have done Disney World and I am just not so excited about doing it. Thoughts?

OK so we live local, so Disneyland is a regular occurrence to us. I've also done WDW & DL is a lot smaller - you can honestly do it in one day, especially on off season & on a weekday - I'm guessing you are here on a Fri/Sat?

My DD is also a HUGE AG fan - we are lucky enough to only be 40 mins from The Grove so we go pretty often. It really is amazing for any little girl, especially if you plan a lunch/dinner in the restaurant (you can book online).

It's a hard call to make! We love both but are so lucky to be close to both! Let me know what you decide

If you can make American Girl Reservation for Saturday, I would sugest Disneyland on Friday and AG on Saturday!
Park should be manageable on Friday but Saturday is St Patricks Day!
There might be loads of leprechauns at Disney on Saturday!

We have been at WDW and DL an DL Paris!
It it worth it being at the Original Disney Park! It does have its unique Charm!
We are taking our kids13,16 for the first time before this cruise!

We have all been to DL except the youngest (I have been at least 5 times and oldest DD has been 3) so I think we are going to do Downtown Disney Friday night since we get in really late Th night and we got reservations at AG on Saturday. We have lots of family in Anaheim so we decided to do my oldest DD's late bday at AG on Saturday.

So excited! I bought my second round of supplies for fe gifts today ;-)

Anyone flying into Long Beach? The last thing I need to do is book transportation from the airport to the Crowne Plaza, and then transportation from the port back to the airport. There is just 3 of us, so I'm wondering if we should just use a taxi, or if we should use a shared van service, i.e Prime Time or Super Shuttle, or if we should use limo.com to see if I can get a good deal on a private car. I'm usually not this indecisive And I'm beginning to drive my DH crazy with all my questions.

My daughter and I sewed our fish extender yesterday. I haven't used a sewing machine in about 25 years. We went out yesterday and purchased all the supplies (including the sewing machine) and put it all together.

It actually turned out really well and wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. It took us about 3 hours to make. My daughter was super excited!

OK - I love that you had to buy a sewing machine to make your FE! Probably the most expensive FE ever made Now I want to see pics! I wish I had attempted to make mine.
sepekaj - we went to the AG store yesterday for lunch - you gals will have so much fun!

I am not traveling from long beach I'm afraid inspired. We are local - sorry.
