MR on the Wonder - Mar 18 2012

I haven't been in awhile and just read the first trip reports from MR and have to say I cannot wait!!!! Now to decide which excursions to take. My DH is a nervous about getting off in Mexico but it sounds like Cabo is fine.

Hi
Also been reading current reports from MR cruises!
Also getting exited!!
Thinking about beach/pool tours in Cabo!
And hopefully will be able to book Las Caletas! It seems like a nice alternative to a Castaway Day!

Hi all. I am new to the disboards and have just booked our first disney cruise to Mexico!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited and can't hardly wait until March.

We have a group of 8 in 3 staterooms. My DH and I in 1 room, DS 21, DS 12 and DD 10 in 2nd room and then DD 17, and 2 tag-a-long friends 16 and 20 in room 3.

We are excited to join in on a fish extender if there are still spots available.
I am so looking forward to getting to know this group a little better before we set sail.

Hi
Nice to see some more new names here on our march 18 cruise!
Disney Wonder is a beautiful ship!
It will be our first time on a Mexican Riviera cruise.
We look forward being able to book Las Caletas excursion!
Then we are not decided yet on what to do in the 2 stops in Cabo!
Regardless it will be nice to spend the extra time on the Ship!

Welcome

I agree Ed, so nice to see some new faces! Welcome! The FE list is looking better - I need to get working on some FE gifts now

I love to see my counter clock going down!!!

I would like to get started with my FE gifts. For those who have participated before, approximately how many cabins usually join in? I heard one post talk about 80 cabins in their FE group.

OK, I think 80 cabins is WAY too many! It's a group choice that we can make nearer the time, but I would say that if we had 40 cabins, for example, we split the group into 2 groups of 20. It's way more manageable & for someone like me who makes individual gifts for each person, then a group gift, it cuts down on a lot of packages! It's really nice to have maybe 2 'deliveries' in your FE a day - so around 15 cabins is perfect. We also gave the whole group all of the room numbers in the whole FE & if you had left overs, you could deliver them to the other cabins. That was really nice.

It's really a super fun thing to be involved in tho, the kids LOVE it (mine check the FE first thing in a morning when they wake up & they race to it every time we go near the cabin!).

I'm prepping my gifts & I'm planning on 20 cabin gifts, then boy/girl/mom/dad gifts. I figure I'll always be able to find people to give extras to!

Let me know if you want to know anything else - you can always PM me, & I'll send u my email :thumbsup2

I am so gald to hear you say 20 cabins. I was kind freaking out a little about 80 cabins and didn't know if that was normal. I would like to do something handmade to add to our gifts and 20 is a great number to start with. Thanks for heading this up!

So cool we are approaching the first window of opportunity for reservations !
Platinum and Suites can start reservations at 120days!
Gold can start at 105 days
Castaway at 90 days
New passengers at 75 Days

WONDER how many people are booked on this sailing!

We still do not know what to book in CABO!
It seems kind of silly going 2 days but short days instead of a full long day each!

greetings! first time poster, cant wait to sail out on the 18th! telling the kids at christmas with cruise shirts and disney crocs :santa: is there room for more on the FE list? we cruised back in 2004, and i must have missed all this fun completely!
