MR BACK's Back!

I just noticed that at the bottom of the page to our thread, under similar threads, it lists "100 Ways to Annoy Your Roommate". Whassup with dat?

:rotfl:

Fam is good. Catrina is up to breakin in a new top tooth and its driving her bananas - the two bottom ones came in with nary a wimper, this one is going to be the death of me or her. She has decided that crawling is much too pedantic for her and she feels that any good princess rolls to where they need to go to. Its pretty funny watching her - she's good and speedy as all hell. She also wants to eat everything in site regardless of having two teeth. She eats anything and everything - forget baby food for her. My son is up to driving me nuts! Up to this point I had no idea what anyone was talking about when they told me that they found three to be terrible, not two. My son has been an angel, or at least sweet and nice, up to the last few weeks. He now has become terreeeebleh. What a little sassafrass! And the jumping beans that suddenly must have been ingested into his system while I wasn't looking, man, I need to burn a CD that says over and over again, "put that butt down on that chair, right now!".

So, all in all, life is good.

Oh, and I am obsessed with digital scrapbooking!

Catrina rocks! and rolls! ;) And she's right, a princess has got to do what a princess has got to do. princess:

How old is your son again? :teeth: I know you mentioned three, but did he just turn three or is he just about to turn four? My oldest two adopted a little 'tude around the age of four, but during the year they were three was the best! I'm looking forward to Ella being three, it's my favorite age. Oh, did I mention that she WILL be three soon? As in - while we are at Disney World? As in celebrating her birthday with Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace? I asked her if she would rather eat with Pooh and Tigger or Cinderella and Snow White and she picked the 100 Acre Woods gang. She is NOT your ordinary princess.

Digital scrapbooking! I don't think I believe in that. ;) Do tell :smooth: .

As promised, I have a few pictures to share from our fall break trip.

This was the view from the deck of our cabin

Not Disney World, but still - a nice getaway. :)

Tinkbackwards.. your kids are really getting BIG... even Ms Ella has really grown over the summer. Daniel is looking more and more like a teenager.. how the girlfriend situation? Does he have lots of girls calling him??

I popped back in because of my new obsession which puts me back on the computer at night - my chiropractor is not happy.

I also needed to check out these photos.

Tink, those kids of yours are truly precious! I LOVE that cabin!!!! Its is sooo my cup of tea for a vacation! I love it - very reminisent of the FTW cabins.

My son is nearing 4 - must be that's it. I loved three also. Very cute age - they get all chatty and imaginative and you can have heart to hearts and they are also sooo cute. I loved this age too - but now you can adopt him if you want. The tude is getting really old. Tell me it goes away.......

My son picks the Hundred Acre Woods crew every time. But this time he is super excited about seeing Cindy and showing her his Monser Trucks on our cruise for his 4th birthday. :confused3

geffric - tell me about this Bad Mommy support group - apparently I need help!

Good evening everyone - I'm Dising while watching The World Series and I thought I would pop by and say "hello"

llebrekniT - the pictures from your fall trip are very nice. They remind me of a trip we took to Durango, Colorado when I was in highschool. It looks like you all had a nice time.

cheeringmom - how are you feeling? I sure hope you are doing better today.

castlegazer - I can't believe you are going to get snow tonight :cold: I guess winter is just around the corner if we want it or not!!!

To everyone else - Hi!! :wave2:

Well, I'm off to finish the game - have a good night everyone!!

Hi Kids! Hi missingbackwardstink! Love your pictures, looks like a wonder fall getaway destination. Not much up with me, uh, well, I am going on my first DISNEY CRUISE in just about a week and a half. Oh, and um, playing with geffric and her son at POP for a few days after that. Oh, and um, we're meeting cadburysmom for dinner one night at Cape May. But that's all ;)

Did I tell you guys I had my dining linked with a family from Brazil? Anybody know any Portuguese?

OK, off for a quick run through the cruise forum, then off to bed.

Nighty-nite!

Where was your fall trip to llebrekniT? It looks so beautiful. Maybe I am just missing trees and green here ;)

Sher, tell them the vasoline story ::yes::

Oh yes, do tell!

Goodmorning - just flakes last night. No accumulation. I haven't checked with my Mom to see what she got - she lives in the mountains. Its down right cold today, though.

I did another digital scrapbook page last night that I wlil share tonight and will link here. Its called a Day in the Life of a Pumpkin. I think its pretty cool.

in the words of the illustrious ibouncetoo, off to puruse the cruise boards......

Morning! I just made contact with a DISer about joining their Illuminations cruise on Thu night! :cool1: I've never done one before, so it will be another "first" to add to my list for this trip. So, geffric while your plane is landing I'll be watching Illuminations, God willing and if the creek don't rise. I'll jump in a cab at the Y&BC and head 'home' right after. So, now I need a new dining plan for that night, I think. Can't do Kona at 7:40P now, so what do you all suggest for the 'greater Boardwalk area' for din-din?

:sunny: Morning All princess:
Slo I did the party thing with my dd when she was younger it was alot of fun, now I will be starting all over with ds he just started k. Have fun! princess:

Okay, I guess I forget how cold it gets so early in some parts. I can't believe some people are getting SNOW already. That is crazy. My mom did mention that it was getting down into the 40s in her part of Texas... but that is not SNOW!

I wore shorts to work yesterday....

I had bathed our youngest and dressed her for bed. My husband was playing with the girls and I was finishing up on some work on the computer. When I went into our bedroom, my husband was on the bed with our oldest, but our 2-year-old was MIA.

I found her on her bed with a 13 ounce tub of target brand vasoline opened. She was applying it very liberally to her face, hands, arms and feet. There were globs of it hanging down near her mouth, so she would lick them out of her way. The outside of the container was/still is an oily mess. She got it on the bed, bedding, and floor. She probably had about half the jar on her body. Mind you I had just put Aveno lotion on her after the bath, so her skin was not going to absorb any of the vasoline.

We called poision control just to make sure it was fine if she ate about a tablespoon's worth. They said as long as she did not choke on it an breath it into her lungs we were fine. We are just expected a 'laxitive effect' sometime today.

She was so happy with herself.

Oh man, this would have driven me nuts!

I had a similar situation the other day - now remember I have been saying that my son is driving me to my limits lately - I couldn't find him anywhere after I got out of the shower, he never gets out of bed without us up till this point - I was panicked because my husband had apparently said he'd come to get him and then fell back to sleep (we're having some sleep deprivation issues due to Catrina). Low and behold after getting really mad after calling and calling for him and completely flipping out - he was under his bed and came out covered in dust bunnies (no comments on the lack of cleaning going on in my household lately, please). He thought this little episode was funny as anything. Mommy did NOT!

BTW Kadaten, adorable pics!!! Your children are so cute!! I love the matching shirts! Do it now cause when they get older the matching will stop!
Are ya talking about the red ones? I am guilty of trying to coordinate my kids, it's true, but those are their SCHOOL UNIFORMS! Can you believe it? Our preschool has uniforms! Not a huge deal, except that my princess: wants to wear "pretty clothes" or dresses, which these are not. OH....and that they overcharge for them which really makes me  . Last school had t-shirts they had to wear on field trip days, but those were sold to us at cost, not inflated prices to pad the school account. Harumph!
