Hi.. so I wrote this whole long post and it just disappeared in cyberspace..

so the short version is that my aunt from La was here from Thursday am until this afternoon. The funeral was very difficult, I went yesterday to his apt to get the things from the frig but wasn't able to handle that...Eric had a Football game today..then laundry and now... tonight I am eating chocolate.. had a bunch of Ben and Jerry's halfbaked too twisted, and some chunky monkey and m&m chocolate mint with chocolate sauce.. didn't put any whipped creme on it though.. then I had some chocolate chunk cookies and I currently am having a glass of really good red wine...

I know your day has to have been simply awful and wish we were there to hug you in person and shore you up!
Your coping mechanisms sound much like mine....thank goodness for Ben & Jerry!

geffric - sorry I wasn't around to give you a cyber hug. Definately celebrate his life in syle in November. He was very lucky to have a daughter like you and you were blessed beyond compare to have a Dad like him.

kadaten - evey time I tried to post on Fiday about your kids I got booted off. I was trying to say,

HOLY ADORABLE!!!!

Catrina's hair appears to be curly and whispy right now - so I know I am in for it. I too just let my son go to school with his hair in whatever shape it is when he wakes - often that means with it plastered to one side of head and sticking up on the other - who cares! I sit every night and brush her hair and brush it when she wakes in the morning - I have no idea what makes me do this - it must be some ingrained woman thing. I certainly never do this with my son. So, Lewski, its OK, it sorta just grows out of you and you want to do it. You'll totally get into it if the baby's a girl.

OK - so everyone is off in Florida that was going and hopefully having a grand old time. Wilma is no big deal for Orlando as I said, and its going to be one huge gigantic super mess for us here in Mass. Its joining with some Nor'Easter and Alpha and combining to create this massive, massive Nor'Easter for us with expected winds speeds of 60 mph and 3 inches of rain per hour. FUN!!!! Its going to hit tonight - doesn't that seem super fast!???

Hubby is on a missions trip for Katrina releif and I want to throw up. UGH. Back to bed. Wanted to check out what was happening. Will be amongst the land of the living in a few days. Hope all of our WDW buds are having fun!

Goodmorning everyone! Reporting here from Hurricane Wilma who has decided thta its cool to party together with one of the worst Nor'Easters in history - had this been just a few weeks later and we would be under about 6 feet of snow. Instead we are getting 3" of rain, 65 mph winds, and basically crap, crap, crap. We are going to get snow tonight!!!!!! But should be just a inch or two.

Man, I just got through telling my son that we are free and clear of Hurricane territory after Katrina and look, we have not gotten hit by two.

We did actually just get back from a little fall break trip. It was wonderful. We went to the Smokies, stayed in a beautiful cabin with an amazing view. I just so happen to have pictures....

So, catch me up on stuff. Besides the storm - what else you got goin' Castlegazer? How is that beautiful baby girl? And the boys too?
