I am sure that it will be perfect... that sounds so wonderful .. what a special b'day week celebration . the Wonder, Illuminations and then the Mini
TAGLIARCHY CHOCOLATE MEET ..:rotfl2: The Chocolatesistas, chocolateboy and ibouncetoo ... Maybe we should forget Cape May and just do a Kitchen sink for dinner and, if we have room, go to the fudge place for dessert.. or have a Mickey Bar or a chocolate dole whip.... hmm...

Yeah - I want to hear it too as I had a miserable experience - the worst ever at a hotel, there too.

:earseek: WOO HOO, sounds like a good plan to me!:hyper: :Pinkbounc

...and did you say Chocolateboy?...too funny :rotfl2: Can't wait to tease Geoff about his new nickname...poor guy is gonna have his hands full trying to keep us in line ;) :p

(speaking of chocolate, did anyone catch Survivor last night....yummmmmmm)

This morning, NC Beast came home with a dozen roses and a card. Jessie got excited thinking that the flowers and card are for her and she is real disappointed to learn that dogs do not get those items. She is getting to be a spoiled poochie.

She was already upset with me yesterday for not sharing my bag of candy from the party. :rotfl:

We got our first towel critter at BWV--- I think it was a lamb's head. We forgot to take a picture of it and we left it behind.

I'm just stopping by to say a quick hello :wave2:

We had a great day today - we went and bought a X-mas tree for our living room. It's going to be so pretty - it's going to be real formal and it's going to be all gold and red. It took forever to pick all the stuff out, but I'm really happy with what we bought. It's going up the weekend before Thanksgiving so I don't have to have all the boxes laying around when the relatives come over for Thanksgiving dinner. Our other X-mas tree will go up the day after Thanksgiving.

Have a great night everyone - we rented Herbie Fully Loaded - I sure hope it's good. Talk to you all later!!

I want the chocolatesistas to know, I HAVE NOT HAD ANY CHOCOLATE IN THREE WEEKS! :hyper: I will be ready for some...starting with next Friday's birthday celebration at the office...then I plan on having some EVERYDAY till I fly home from WDW ::yes::

Okay Slo, you are getting the holiday spirit very early. I don't know if it is because we are still in the mid-80s here, but it sure doesn't feel like the holidays are just around the corner. Also, I am still trying to get use the decorated palm trees...

The girls sure do like when we have the tree decorated, but I suspect my youngest will still be a little bit of a handful when it comes to keeping her hands off the decorations.

I finally got my husband to watch the WDW planning DVD last night. We really think that my dream trip that poor ibouncetoo has been hearing about for years could really happen around this time next year. Although, I may want to push it back another year if my little one is still a difficult traveler. We will probably go to Disneyland in December, so we will have a better idea about her traveling abilities then. Anyway, I have been thinking about POFQ as our resort of choice, with POR as my second choice. (POLY if we won the lottery). When we watched the DVD my husband liked Caribbean Beach the best of the moderates. He said the pool looked like more fun.

Any thoughts about Caribbean Beach for a family with young children?

He also thought Pop looked good too.

BlueBayou--- I think a moderate will be a better value than a value resort because it is a little bigger, the fridge is big enough for a 1/2 half gallon milk (no freezer area), and quiet pools/spa.

We rented points for a studio at BWV for the same price as a moderate and loved having a fridge and access to washer/dryer. I understand that the 1,2,3 bedroom units have a kitchen and washer/dryer inside the unit. You can still use DME, but housekeeping is about every 4 days unless you pay for more service.

The deluxe hotels are great---love interior hallways which were great during the inclement weather.

I heard rumors of a Jan.- March package deals coming out next week.

We left our tree decorated and it is being stored in the back bedroom until we get back from our next road trip.

Our grocery store was being decorated yesterday---on my b-day. I think we are going to be low key on holiday decorations again.

Oh---
some other lessons from this past week:

---NC Beast traded his first pin with Art Lark/ BC greeter feature in Samanatha Brown's travel channel show.
---Try not to scream on the big drop on Splash Mountain.
---The water is so clean now on IASW that you can see the coins that people are dropping in for their many wishes.
---The dwarfs like to air high fives near Dumbo as they were being led somewhere. They waved to us later at the Boo to You parade.
---When going back to the Pop Century bus spot at Epcot during the F&W weeks---look the other direction quickly when an over-indulged man announces his intentions to show you the full moon. (By the way--he was trying to find his way down the Carribbean Beach queue). I think security may have met up with him.

---Value season during the winter is definitely better for us.

OK, just got back from buying more clothes! Seems like I only get new clothes when I take a trip. Dropped off my 'dinner' outfit for alterations, thank goodness it's just hemming and they can get it done in time (pants and jacket sleves). Very excited about finding a swimsuit cover up/lounge by the pool dress...and I didn't have to resort to a MUMU! Ankle lenth sheath in blues and greens, sleevless (not my first choice, but oh well), it's very pretty and doesn't have to be hemmed.

Just cancelled my ADR for Kona Thursday 11/10, since I need to be in the Boardwalk area at 8:15P. Couldn't get an ADR at LeCellier that night, so I might try a walk up there, and if I can't get in.....well, I'll just have to eat my way around the F&WF for my dinner ::yes::. Yep, just got off the phone with geffric and rearranged my park tour. I'll use one day of my hopper on Thursday, so I can do MK and Epcot; Friday on the hopper will be Epcot/MGM/Epcot and Saturday will be AK with a one day/one park ticket.

Oh, just called Disney dining back and got a lunch on Thu at Crystal Palace, 12:45P, so that should hold me for a long time.....looks like a nosh at F&WF before the Illuminations cruise will work just fine. I love it when a plan comes together! ::yes::

Ibouncetoo--- bring some cash for the booths--quicker and the machines don't always work properly. Spoodles had awesome dishes as well as Chef de France.

We didn't nosh as much because a lot of the booths from Sat. night- Tuesday were limited due to hurricane. Thurs-Sat. was just too hot to think about food.

Le Cellier is almost impossible to get these days---maybe you get some things to go.

Sounds like a terrific plan... I am so excited.. I can't wait until we are there...

NC Belle sure you can't sneak away for just a few days to play with us...?? We are going have so much fun...

How much cash do you think we should have? Geoff and I want to try everything... do they take the disney rewards dollars card?
