Let's suppose both places cost the same per night. Which one would you choose and why? Since a fabulous pool atmosphere is important to my family and I'm beginning to feel the temptation to stay offsite, I'm wondering which one to choose. I've read good reviews about both places and just don't know which one to pick!

Never been to the Hyatt, but I can tell you that the MOWC is beautiful. The resort is very large and the pools are in IMHO better than any of disneys. They have several pools and the large one has a great tropical feel to it. You can order drinks/food also, as they have a pool wait staff. We went to Florida 2 years ago and stayed there. We didn't do disney, we just stayed at the resort and had a great time. The room we had was bright and airy and had a great view of the pool. We also had a balcony which we loved. I would stay there anytime again. The only downfall for me was the walk from the parking area to the resort. They do have a shuttle bus for you to call and they'll pick you up to bring you to the enterance. It took all of 1-2 min. for them to come get us. The breakfast buffet was great. Different types of hot and cold choices. We also had lunch there and it was just as good. We didn't have dinner at the resort, we had our car so we went elsewhere. The staff and service was friendly and helpful and best of all the price couldn't be beat. We paid something like 140.00 per night including the buffet breakfast for 2 adults. My dd was 7.99. Worth every penny. I would stay there in a heartbeat again.

the Hyatt - their swimming pool as appeared several times on the travel channel....

this is a beautiful resort and their swimming pool is one of the best....

I think there both fantastic. Both hotels have fanastic pools! I like the Hyatt's locaion better. But the MOWC also has a pool thats indoors if its chilly out.
