Awww. I love that last shot of all of you. Everyone looks so happy.
So glad Meg got to meet her favorite! Great pictures with Duffy.
Thank you!!!
I don't know what that drink is, but I do know it looks delicious and I've never had one. Must rectify that next Epcot trip!
it's a DELICIOUS Margarita! Form LaCavade Taquila.
Yes you have to fix that.
Meg and Duffy--too cute! But yes, he does look a little miffed about something.
He does i don't know what the deal is with the angry eyes?!?
Yes Duffy is he end all for Meg.
We've never tried the green side of MS. Might have to try of just to see what the difference is. We didn't think the orange side was so bad---but someone did get sick on it last time we rode it years ago. Gross!
oh my yuck... I was apprehensive about the whole ride.. people really complain about being claustrophobic then saying how rough the orange side is. Honestly I think Tom and kids could do it, I wanted to make sure we can all handle green first!
Your daughter looks like she was over the moon to meet Duffy.
She truly was!!!
I agree, he doesn't look happy. To much fur over his eyes or something.
Maybe?!?! he is ANGRY!
We loved Mission:Space...but green.
I'm with you!! Have you ever done orange?
My daughter (age 4!!!) wants to do the Orange Ticket. She also wants Mission: SPACE to be her very first ride.
She is a tough cookie!!!
Look, she's pretty fearless, and she can rough-house with the best of them, but she still gets a bit timid about walking down the stairs if Mommy or Daddy isn't there to break her fall if she trips. Maybe she'll be a champ? Maybe the seatbelt will make her feel nice and secure?
Got me.
I would try the green first. then if she still likes it then try orange i cannot be of help. we only did green.
And before someone asks: She's 44 and 1/4 inches tall. Yes yes, I did give birth to a little Norwegian Viking lass: very tall.

Norwegian Viking?

your a nut!!! I don't even know the height limit on the ride.
I am caught up again - apparently I either need to quit my job so I can DIS more during the week or stop going to Disney all the time so I can DIS on the weekend.
NO DO NOT STOP GOING TO DISNEY!!!! LOL!!!
Love that Meg got to meet Duffy! How exciting for her! And so cool that she asked Donald to shake his tail feather - never thought of that but I bet it would be fun.
It was
THE highlight of her trip to meet Duffy FINALLY.
What did everyone think of Mission Space? It's one of the few things we haven't done at Disney - DH is super clausterphobic (however you're supposed to spell that work) and I read about several people dying on it due to heart related issues (this may be urban legend) but it's enough to keep us away. Tell me about your first hand experience so I can decide if it's time to try something new
I thought it was quirky fun. Remember we did do green i cannot help with Orange. I have no idea.
It is a small enclosed space. there is a harness on you and your on top of the control thing. But once the ride starts? it feels more open. the screen makes everything a bit wider - then is a bit quirky.
Like i said Matt and i were acting like fools on the ride, I think making all he jokes and screwing around makes the bad stuff easier to deal or just forgotten?!?!
Try this:

OMG that picture of Matt with the wand!

So funny!
thanks.. He's a nut. Love the fact my kids aren't afraid to be silly or fun in public.
And um, yeah, Duffy looks a little angry. What's up with that? I'm not such a fan of Duffy. I just don't get it. I know the story and all, but he's just not my thing. I'm glad Meg got to meet him, though! She looks ecstatic!
I was adamant about NOT getting into the whole Duffy thing. NO WAY NO HOW.
Until we went to DTD in 2011. She fell in love with that Duffy she is carrying. Won't give it up for anything. They all now have the bigger one a couple of outfits for them. they aren't the most wanted toy. The one she has is the cream of the crop. She has loved Duffy ever since. Even with angry eyes.
I don't drink, but if I did, I'd have what you were drinking. Of course I'd probably think it tasted gross. I've just never acquired a taste for alcoholic drinks. My DH might like it, though!
I'm sure you won't like it as it has a strong alcohol taste. It was right up my alley.. I was in NEED of a drink.
So I hope your room was ready. Sheesh, you've been waiting long enough!
Right?
Does he always look like that or did the humidity get to him too?!?!
I tried mission space orange side this last trip. Green side made me sick. I was fine on orange and loved it. I have reverse motion sickness. I am fine in a boat on a rough ocean day. Put me in a boat on a smooth lake...sick as can be.
really? Is it like RnR? I think we need to try the orange next time.
Hopefully you have a room. That would be such a drag.
Tell me about it.
Sounds like Biergarten was a pretty awesome experience for you all.
We can have a good time in a cardboard box...
Awe, Meg and Duffy....perfection! I loved those photos SO much! I also liked reading about the interaction with Mulan and Donald. I don't hear people commenting on their interactions with Mulan so that was neat to read.
Thank you!!! Yes Duffy was adorable with Meg, which made Duffy that more popular with her!!!
I enjoy all your ride photos, since I have never been, it's very interesting for me to see. You are getting some really good ones!
Ohh I am so glad i can help!!! Thanks! I like a few of the pictures too.
any questions just ask away!!
I don't know what that drink is, but I guess it needs to be added to my "Must try" list.
a Margarita!!! packed with yummy goodness!!!
Mission Space...what was the consensus? Did they like it?
Oh yes! Everyone liked it. we were going to go one again but the line got to be about 35 minutes for orange, no one wanted to wait that out
You sound super busy, I get tired just reading all that you do on your weekends.
Honestly i think it's starting to catch up with me.
I love the youth football atmosphere, I grew up with 2 brothers playing, Dad coaching, Mom as the President of the program, sister cheering and myself coaching cheer. I really enjoy reading those updates from you and seeing the photos, so fun. My own daughter was finally old enough to join a youth cheer program this year (I coached) and we are almost to the end of the season. I am always happy and sad to see the football season end, it's bittersweet.
I am SOOOO with you!!! I just ADORE FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!
I'm actually not in the marching band. I do theater at my school, and most of the kids in marching band/colorguard have an overlapping interest and do stage crew/the musical when band season is over. I don't have the time to hang with them during football season because they practice every day and have games/comps every weekend! It's so stressful on them, but the hard work pays off. They've been #1 in ACCs (Atlantic Coast Championships) for a few years, but this year the marching band took home #4th place. Colorguard got #12 out of 26 bands because we only had 6 girls this year and 4 of them were freshman.
Well that cleared that up!

I am glad you get to spen some good quality time with your friends again!!!
BIG CONGRATS on being champs!! 4th is a great accomplishment too!
