Okay, so I've spent the better part of a few hours today looking for any advice on what to tip the Mousekeepers at the Resorts.

DH and I are wondering if there is a set amount that everyone has for their stay. There are three of us. I'm not sure how much to tip for each night.

Also, I remember seeing some cute envelope templates with different Disney characters on them. I'm not sure if it was here or if anyone knows where it was.

What is the standard on tipping??

From what I've read on previous tip threads, it's normally $1 per person per night. We're planning to go in sept./oct. and will be leaving $5/day from the 4 of us.

I was thinking that $5/day seems like the perfect amount. I'm never sure on these types of things.

I just use plain envelopes, print out a label that says "Mousekeeping" along with the date and decorate it with Disney stickers :tinker:

I used these a few years ago. They were still on my computer, but I'm not sure where I got them from

Nothing wrong with tipping if you feel inclined to do so but as far as standard it's up to you to decide how much to tip. We don't tip at all

The templates I have used for Mousekeeping envelopes are at the web site mouse for less. We always tip nightly, not by stay because the Mousekeepers change during a week long stay.

DW and I traditionally leave a couple of gold dollar coins on each pillow each morning.

Is it best to tip daily or at the end of the week?

Daily, if shift changes happen in the middle of the week, you risk the mousekeeper that takes care of you will not be there at the end of the week.

Thanks. Guess that would be logical. Lol. :)

What about tipping if you're staying at club level? We usually do $5 a day but have never stayed at CL before.
