Mousejunkies book - anyone here write it? or read it?

Have not heard of this book until seeing this thread but sounds as if it is a must read, thinking I might pick it up for my Nov trip

And now I just teared up reading about you tearing up! It's the Circle of Tears, people! I suspect the next time I cry going under that train trestle it will be because I'm six miles into a half marathon!

Okay as soon as I saw this thread I went out an bought the book and read it all last night. It was wonderful, I laughed and cried. I am a total mousejunkie too. I about died laughing when he wrote about the ESPN club and Cowboy and Redskins fans working together to get a seat. DH is a Redskins fan and DS is a Cowboys fan. The ESPN club may be the only place they find a way to work together during football season.

I finally got curious enough to open this thread. Now I'll be out some money because I'll be buying the book. From the reviews here, sounds like I can relate! Should be good reading for our up coming road trip. So glad the author saw the thread. Going over to his blog now to get a fix before the book comes!

I remember hearing about the book at least a year ago and thought "I should read that" and somehow it fell off my radar and I haven't thought about it again until I seen this thread today. I am definately going to order it, now I am super excited to read it. When I read that other people cry when they walk under the train station and onto main street I knew I had to read this book! To this day it is always the most perfect moment I could as for, I cannot help but tear up. My friends know I am a Disney Freak, but when I tell them that they stare at me blankly. Can't wait to read stories of others who feel the same. Of course a daily dose of Dis Boards always makes me feel good as well.

Very funny book. I read it last winter, and a coupla times since. I love the first couple of chapters because they describe my experience of becoming a mousejunkie. The only thing I disgree with is the part that says theres no good food in AK. Even before the new TH there was FTB. A great QS outdoor BBQ. One of our favorites, even though they changed the baked bean recipe. The bbq chicken and ribs are great. Anyway, the book just captures everything we love about WDW. Its nice to know there are other people that get it, cause most just act like I'm stupid.

I have personally witnessed Bill devouring ribs with gusto at FTB, so I kind of questioned that one, myself. I know Bill's not a fan of baked beans, but this is one Mousejunkie who thinks a day at AK is incomplete without a trip to the Flame Tree. I also love the cornbread, onion rings and key lime mousse there. The only thing I don't love about FTB is that people ignore the message printed on the menu, the napkins, and signs covering almost every surface of the dining areas and feed the birds, anyway. Please don't feed the birds, people! Not only is it bad for them, but I don't appreciate having an ibis pointing that long pointy beak anywhere near my cornbread!

Reading mousejunkies now. I definitely fit the profile. We became DVC members in 2008 and now go 2x a year. Just postponed our Dec trip to Jan so maybe we'll see Bill there! I cry at the MK too. My dd cries on the trip to the airport for the flight home. We call the DVC our cottage. it really is home to us.
