Motivation

As I began my new lifestyle change next week, i'm kind of worried. Right now, i feel really motivated and excited that i'm ready to begin a new life but i'm afraid it won't last. What are some of the things that help keep you motivated during the diet? Does anyone hang pictures or anything?
 
I find that just sticking with it motivates me. Once I stray I feel bad and then eat something or not go to my workout that day.

i have to mix it up -- i hang pictures, i hang clothing that is too tight in plain sight, but mostly just seeing the changes and the effect of good choices (more energy, sleep better, etc) that's what REALLY keeps me going
 
Looking at pictures can be a great motivator. But I can't look at fat pictures too often cause then I feel like there is not enough improvement.

I like to take my measurements. You can lose inches without losing all that much weight. At one point I was bouncing up and down for 2 months. But my measurements were still going down. They went down 4 inches in that time period.

Also changing things up as far as your workout routine. Or a new low cal food or recipe.

I've just recently decided to start training for a Disney 5K and that has really kicked my walking into high gear. Plus I get to think about the trip to Disney for the run!

Also just being here on the boards and talking about exercise has many a time picked my butt up out of the chair and gone to do some activity! It's a great reminder.
