Motion Sickness pills. Not dramanine. ??

Meclizine is the generic brand of Bonine. Because of that, it is a lot cheaper.

HockeyMom be very careful with the patch things. If you wear contacts then make sure to not touch your eyes if you have touched the patch. Follow the directions very carefully and don't use them for more than a few days. You can cut them in half and see if that works for you. We have used them on cruises but quit from the side effects. Bonnine or non drowsy dramimine works great. Our son who gets green from flying and rides went on Space Mountian 10 times using bonnine and had no problem.

Bev J - Thanks so much for giving me more info on the patch. I think I'll get something over the counter (Bonine) and try that first before using the patch. I would hate to use that patch and then be worse off and fall asleep!!

I learned this tip from this board and it is great. Bonnie/meclizine is a 24 hour pill. If I know I'll be going on spinning rides the next day, I take 2 the night before and it does make me drowsy, but I'm going to bed anyway so who cares. The effects usualy last most of the next day. Take 2 right before bed and you don't have the drowsy effect the next day, but still have the motion sickness cure.
