I'm not opposed to plastic surgery. Why would i be? This isn;t just plastic surgery though. This is changing much more than droopy eyes or getting bigger ****s or reducing them. They aren't comparable.
No matter what Chasity is Chasity Bono and she is XX. Her brain needed changing and healing, not her body.
First off, you don't KNOW she's XX.
Also, did you know there are XYs who look female in every way? It's called androgen insensitivity, and these people are born looking perfectly female. In fact, when they hit puberty, they often become stunningly beautiful women, tall, very little body hair, big breasts. Usually they self-identify as women. And yet they are chromosomally male. Many of them don't find out until they start investigating why they're infertile.
In modern science there's growing evidence that gender is more than just your chromosomes. It's in the chemicals you were bathed in, when you were in the womb. It's in your brain structures! It's right down in your DNA, and it's a LOT more fluid that you can possibly imagine. It's not either/or, it's a continuum.
Oh... and that's not even counting chimeras! There are folks born with TWO different sets of DNA. It's hard to say how many of them there are, because most will go undetected their whole lives. But there is one famous case of a woman whose uterus was actually that of a fraternal twin. She was required to get her kids a DNA test for welfare purposes, and the test came back saying she wasn't the mother, even though she had given birth to them herself!
