Most hated baby names

My kid would be named Taco Bell.

I hate Taco Bell. But for a few months, I absolutely craved soft, deluxe tacos with extra sour cream.

Taco Bell is now 16 and I have not been back to his namesake.

RE: The Danny and Quinn chitter chatter -

I have a Daniel (Danny) Quinn.

My other one is Joseph (Joey) Anthony.

They've been the only Joey (at age 21) and Danny (at age 17) for yearrrrrs amongst their peers. It's a little weird.

And I also am not feeling the *den* bandwagon. Hayden, Brayden, Cayden....not my style. But then again, I chose the ~boring~ Joey & Danny. ;)

As far as food cravings: Joey would have been Strawberry Or Italian Bread / and Danny would have been Fish Chips.

Right? I just don't understand how such classic, popular names are so uncommon around here! At least we do know one kid named Joseph (he doesn't go by Joey), but I've been racking my brain and no Daniels or Dannys at all!

We do, however, know a Jaden and two Jaydens in just one class...

Living in an older area, I find we do get some of the newer girl names (especially if they're even somewhat Italian - tons of Isabellas, Avas, Olivias, Sophias, Giannas, Daniellas, Julias...), but not as many foo-foo boy names. We still have a number of Anthonys, Michaels, Toms, Kevins, Franks, and of course, your Dantes and Danatos.

Ha! My kids would have been Cheesy Hashbrowns and Taco Dip if we went based off cravings!

Working on the food craving line, my kid would currently be named "Rootbeer".

My son has 2 Jaden/Jaydens in his class too. One boy, one girl. So they (the kids not the teacher) identify them as "boy Jayden" and "girl Jayden".

My real name is a super super common and popular name for my peer group..generally there was at least one other person with my name in my class and in high school one year for one of my classes there were 4 of us with the same name..3 of us the same first/middle name combo. It was a hang up for me when I had kids that I did not want a super popular name because I hated being Name First Initial. So I was on a question for classic but not common names. Despite picking a classic name that ranked in the 200s my ODS also has another kid in his class with the same first name as him and since preschool has had at least 1 kid with the same name in his grade/school (different kids so not the same one each year).

My YDS name is allegedly far more popular (top 50) yet to date (he is 5) we haven't run into any other kids in his peer group with the same name.

:rotfl::lmao: When I was pregnant with my son I craved pears so badly. I never ate a pear before I got pregnant and haven't eaten one since. They are mushy and gross. I also craved iced coffee and reeses pieces with him, guess I could have gone with Reese :goodvibes.

As for the Joey, Daniel convo going on, I went to school with multiple Josephs/Joeys and a few Daniels. Also a lot of Michaels.

The whole time I was pregnant I craved two things I have not had before or since: Apple Jacks and grapefruit juice.

And guess what are my son's favorite snack and drink?

My DS25 should have been named Watermelon instead of plain ol' John. DD19 should have been Fresh Peaches(sounds like a stripper!) And Christian should have been McDonald Cheeseburger
