To truly answer the OP's question, it's unfair to draw people who weren't nearly as famous in our era as others. Yes, they're very well known and still famous, but they were probably far more well known in other times, more than likely when we weren't alive. Jackson's pinnacle of his career was most likely in the early '80's. The Beatles' pinnacle was in the '60's. You get the point.
