Most famous person you have met?

We got to meet Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario in the Super Mario Video game series. My youngest was terrified, until he talked to him in his Mario voice. Very nice man. We did a photo op with him and had a blast

Sounds like what happened when my kids met John Ratzenberger. They were keeping their distance until he said, "Welcome to the Himalayas!" He was very nice. Then I thanked him for his service to the city of Boston.

I met a member of the band Journey when I was at a Hard Rock as a teenager (I'm 31 now so it wasn't THAT long ago and he was OLD compared to teenage me)... he was drunk or high (or both?) and kept inviting me to go on a trip with him. He also fully kissed me on the lips after like a 2 min convo. His manager/handler kept trying to make arrangements for me to go on this trip. It was the most bizarre thing ever. I literally had NO idea who he was. Thoroughly gross. :scared:

I met Debi Thomas, the figure skater, when she was world champion. I was in college and doing my PR internship at a non-profit. She filmed a public service announcement that I wrote, which was very exciting at the time.

MY DS met Sly Stallone last year at his university. He was touring the campus with his daughter and the program director wanted them to meet DS's voice teacher. DS happened to be in his lesson at the time, so the door opened, the director said, "Hey! Quit yodeling for a minute! We have visitors." In walks Sly Stallone and his DD. The director introduced them to the voice teacher and my DS. They chatted for a few seconds and left. Sly's DD was very apologetic about interrupting the lesson. My DS was just stunned and looked at his teacher and said, "What just happened?" She said, "Just wait until you get famous! You'll meet people like that all the time!"

My husband has met hundreds of famous people...and sport stars. Though it has been via autograph shows but over 40 years of doing it. But one of the nicest he said he met was Phil Rizzuto (I know, not an actor or anything like that). My husband was actually on a business trip in Florida and Phil Rizzuto was staying there. Mr. Rizzuto noticed my husband a couple times at breakfast and before you know it, he asked my husband to join him. Had breakfast together a couple of times. He was always by himself, he would take breakfast to his wife in their room. He said John Cusack was kind of strange. His sister was there too and said he's actually "stand-offish" towards people. One night he went to a bar after a show, Mickey Dolan was there, ended up hanging out with him and his friends the entire evening. Bruce Springsteen at a book signing, said he was very cool and nice. Kevin Sorbo took a liking to my daughter (about 10 months old at the time) have a really nice picture of the two of them. He's great with babies. There's so many...

Not a fair question for me. I've been in film/TV/theater my entire career.
Same situation for me.
Bob Hope. Ronald Reagan. Jerry Brown. Olivia Newton John. Dr. Joyce Brothers. Shaq. Lou Ferrigno. Alison Arngrim and Dean Butler from Little House On the Prairie. Oh and Mickey Mouse. He would be on one of the shows my last station did about every 3 months, and honest to God, his security was tighter than any of the above people.

Barry Manilow during a song writer conference. His friend Eric Borenstein was there listening to music that Barry may want. Everyone had left and as I was talking to Eric, Barry came in. I was offered a job setting up the merchandise at concerts but, had family at home. Barry's husband (I think Gary?) is a jerk. Also had an hour long conversation with Clive Davis. Weird man but may be normal for the music industry. Nothing like having a conversation with a man staring at all the young girls walking by and I mean following them with his eyes down the street yukky (we were by UCLA) . Barry is a very nice person surrounded by "not so nice" people

Tiger Woods and other golfers, I've volunteered at a bunch of PGA Tour events.

Ben Bernake in an elevator at a banking conference. Showing my age but Billy Williams of HOF and Cubs fame is a neighbor of mine

My uncle/god father. He is a special effects artist. Has done work on many popular movies, including Star Wars. He even had a cameo in the original Star Tours.
I know someone like this. He has done Sound Design for Lucas Arts for quite awhile. He is "additional voices" in a lot of Star Wars movies and tv shows. I love looking for his name. We did a show together YEARS ago. One of the most talented people I have ever met or worked with.

My college roommate and I were excited to meet Christopher Hogwood after an SPCO concert back in 1990.

DH and I were walking down 7th Avenue in NYC one day when a doorway opened up and Paul McCartney walked right in front of us across the sidewalk to a waiting limo. DH had no clue, but the guy walking next to me and I, our jaws dropped! I still tease DH about it. (We saw Sir Paul perform last week at Fenway Park.)
