Most economical way?

What is the most economical way to get from Coronado Springs to Universal studios, and back?

There will be a group of 4 or 6 high school students going?

Mears Shuttle is $20 pp round trip.
Tiffany Town Car (for example, other car service providers would be comparable):
one to four persons = town car = $80 round trip
up to ten persons = van = $90 round trip

Advantages to a car service would be (a) personalized service: you arrange specific pickup and return times, and the service caters to you (shuttle has you call two hours before you want to head back to your resort); and (b) you don't share the ride with anyone else or stop at multiple locations in either direction.

Also does anyone know the rough cost of a cab to universal from CSR?

I was curious on this too...we're planning on doing an IoA day and don't really want to rent a car just for the day. Any info on the cabs?

Mears Shuttle = simple At least one day before you want to go, pick up the phone in your room, dial Operator, and ask to be connected to Mears! You can make your reservations this way, they'll give you all the information you need.

Cab would be about $40 plus tip one way, actual price affected by route, traffic, lights...

Getting a cab is easy. Just walk out the front door of the resort. If there's not at least one cab waiting, Bell Services / Luggage Assistance can get one (or more) quickly.
