Mosquito bite relief for DD

I want to say thank you for all the unique and great ideas and for the kind thoughts. We tried a few different home remedies, but nothing really seemed to provide much relief last night. I think there are just too many to get much relief.

Golfgal: lol, she was getting annoyed with me trying to count them all! We usually do spray her, but DH didn't consider middle of the day as an issue, because it usually isn't. But having just rained caught them off guard. And of course he didn't notice the mosquitoes because he wasn't the one getting all of the bites!

My main concern is infection, so I'm trying to keep her scratching to a minimum. Some of them are fairly large (normal reaction for her). She finds keeping a wet washcloth on her legs helpful. She is feeling better and says she isn't as itchy today (thankfully!).

To those who mentioned being a mosquito magnet, I am one too. It's miserable to have that many bites and we'll be more diligent from now on about keeping spray in the car.

Try oragel, the tooth ache pain medicine. It might help. Good luck, I can't imagine how much she itches.
