MORE Wegoshop questions!

So in the past we have used GG, but because Wegoshop uses Walmart, I'm thinking of trying them for our next trip.

Our Walmart is a Super Walmart, so we can get our groceries there too. Do we know if the one they shop at has "perishable" groceries also? I could do all our vacation shopping at Walmart! My concern is, some items are available some days, and not others. In other words, it's a crap shoot, but if I'm there twice a week I'm assured to get specific items on one of those two visits.

If they have orders in early (weeks in advance), do you think they shop for nonperishables in advance, so there's a better chance of having a complete order?

For our last use of We Go Shop, I just asked that they shop at the cheapest location and did not specify what store. I figure since they do this for a living, they know prices.

I doubt they shop early because of storage issues. I would send an email and ask. It's a very personal operation and they will give you an honest answer. We were pleased with the service and plan to use them for our next trip; however, I see that Marge has passed the ownership to a long time employee. My guess is that this was the employee who delivered our groceries last time and she was pleasant and helpful. When I look at the prices charged by GG, I think we got a better deal from We Go Shop, but as you say, it's really just a crap shoot.

The one time I requested a specific brand of wine and there Walmart didn't carry it, they went to a different store to find it and didn't charge me a second store visit. Always have been pleased with there service. I thought about switching to Garden Grocer, but after looking at the prices I went back to Wegoshop for our upcoming August trip. I like getting the actual reciept and just paying a shopping/delivery fee.

The Walmart they shop at does have perishables, we have ordered 3 times from them to shop at Walmart and we ordered perishables.

We used Wego shop in December and requested thatbthey shop at Publix, and ordered liquor, separate stop for the liquorwhich we were not charged for.BTW liquor was cheaper than any store we've purchased from.
