Help needed please...

I'm leaning towards transfers rather than car hire now...Can somebody tell me how I'm best going about...

a) Going from CDG to Paris (we want to spend 5-6 hours in Paris, land around 2pm)...How do we get from CDG to Paris and how would we get back from Paris to our hotel (Explorers)

b)Would you recommend a taxi, train or shuttle bus for our family of 5 on the return to CDG.

Thanks so much for any help, despite this being a repeat trip I'm totally, totally clueless on all of this!

Can anybody give me some idea on prices too? :goodvibes

a -Quickest way would be to take the RER B from CDG to central Paris (Chatelet-Les Halles). Make sure it's an express one otherwise you stop every where on the way and it takes longer.

From there you have several metro lines to choose from depending where you want to go next

Coming back and going to your hotel you can take the RER A from either Chatelet-Les Halles, Auber (which is near Opera) or Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (top of the Champs Elysées) and go to Marne La Vallée-Chessy which is the Disneyland stop.

From there take the shuttle bus to your hotel

Prices depend on what you are wanting to do and if there are children or just adults

b-Depends on you - There is the TGV train that goes from the MLV-Chessy station to CDG and takes less than 10 minutes
There is the VEA bus that goes from the hotels to the airport
You can take a private shuttle which is the most expensive option

I wouldn't try getting a normal taxi
