How do you tip bartenders and servers of individual drinks on the cruise? if I order a drink do I put the tip on the KTTW card? or do I do it in cash- I didn't really want to worry about cash- but from what I've seen on the travels channel & such servers come over to you on the deck by the pools to take drink orders- how do I handle? Also, I'm not sure how it works but I am under the impression that there is a meal served on CC- do you tip the server there as well? and by what means? Thanks!!:D

When you purchase a drink, your charge to your KTTW card will show a 15% auto-gratuity. In other words, you're charged $5.75 for a $5.00 drink. Usually, the 15% auto-gratuity is fine, but there's a line to increase the tip, if you wish to reward exceptional service.

The food service on Castaway Cay is self-service, but the folks who work there are the servers from the ship. As with meal service on the ship itself, meal-by-meal tipping in neither customary nor expected. By tipping your dinner server, asst. server, and head server on the final night, you're really tipping your share for all the of the meal service throughout your cruise, including Castaway Cay. (The exception is Palo, where an additional meal tip seems like good idea.)

The drinks will have an automatic gratuity addded in. The CC meal is buffet and no tips.
