More than 10 park days?

Can you add more than 10 days on a hopper without getting an annual pass?
No, because either way you break it down, after 10 days an Annual Passport will be the best alternative.

Then comes the fun of adding the AP discounts to your resort bookings and start breaking down how much you can save on meals, merchandise and events during your visit. :tink:

Yes. It is technically possible as a "guest recovery" function for Guest Relations to sell you additional days. But it doesn't happen often and it's never offered up front. And it doesn't change the expiration of the ticket.

These days, the ROI of an annual pass is well beyond a couple extra days.

Well that's kinda silly, but what I thought. Thanks for the quick reply.
It will pay off though, and if you're spending more than 10 days at Disney you really want to get the added AP perks, and still fall under the total price of "adding days"... Even if it's done off the regular market. :thumbsup2

The 10 day hopper is about $400. Isn't the annual pass double that? Seems like its only about $10 a day to add on after 7 days and I'm not planning to go back within the year. Just looking to give us some extra days if they are about $10 a day.

$ 10 looks like a "base price". So no parkhopping, no discounts to shave off the total cost and the biggest saving I found was the great AP accommodation discounts in particular. :earsboy:

But I totally see your point, and if you're staying off property on a better deal, I'd reconsider too and perhaps calculate the actual cost once more? :smickey:

I'm sure you'll find the best way to work it out. :woohoo:

Not sure of the exact numbers, but making the AP pay off (or even break even) usually takes more than just 11 or 12 days.

If you're traveling during the fall, you could supplement with a Halloween or Christmas party ticket.

Nope leaving in a few days - yay! 10 park days is probably more than enough, but I figured for $10 a day extra (and that is with hopping) I'd add the days and have shorter park days. Oh well...just don't understand Disney's reasoning in this and the fact that they expire within 14 days. It seems like they are discouraging people to stay longer.

Guest Services can add a day or two on at very low cost if you ask. They do not advertise it but it is policy for anyone who asks. We only go every 2-3 years for 10-11 days. An AP is far too expensive to add a day or two. We'll pay the $10-$20 to allow us to visit the parks on our departure day before flying home.

I think they might be... after 10 park days, most people have spent wathever money they will on souvenirs etc. So they might prefer to get a fresh batch of guests in.

Please check at guest services. Sometimes they can make an exception.

We did get AP's last month and love the flexibility and hope to go back at least 2 times before they expire.

One of the best thing about the AP's is that all photo pass pictures are now included. We probably have over 300 pictures from our past trip.

I am from the UK, we can go on the US site over here and book US tickets. Is it possible you can go on the UK site and book the 14 or 21 day ultimate ticket?
