we are expecting 6-8" of snow thursday night. then another 4-6" on friday..

we had almost 29" of snow and then we had a little warm up and that brought the piles down a bit. last night we got like 5" and now look what we are in for. you would think we lived in colorado..

i feel a need, a need for the fort... it's calling me..

You can't go unless you take us with you! This is as bad as last year. We are stuck in some system where we will be getting storms every couple of days. Rog do you want to come to Wisconsin for a visit? Maybe you could bring Pete and his new dog with you :lmao:

So far we have gotten 12 inches of snow. The roads are terrible. If it is a two lane road only one lane is plowed and the intersections are just piles of snow from the plows. Schools and closed and the malls are not opening until noon. We are supposed to get another 5 inches on Sat/Sun. I swear this is a repeat of last year.

You guys would laugh so hard at us in the Lehigh Valley. They predicted 2-4 inches of snow for us last night after midnight, so all of the night schools cancelled classes last night despite the fact that the weather was fine. Then this morning all the schools were closed - still no snow. The snow started about 10 am and is now rain (we got maybe 2 inches of snow) and everything is closed. But, I could still use some time at FW.

We got hit with an ice storm and 5 days without heat and lights last week into this. Mmm... kind of ruined the appeal for camping for me!

I was out at 5am for the first job, but the second one called and said stay home. WOOHOO a snow day for me! :cool1: I'm happy I don't have to go back out in it. Maybe I'll bake some cookies....

This is out my front window. Notice my bench, I don't think anyone can sit there today.

and out the back lots of white stuff. Pete, you better get your dog!

DH working hard on his snowday!

I could not imagine being a plumber working in that. But it sure would be fun to tear through it in my golf cart.

First "real" snow of the year and am sick of it already - though we will have a white christmas for a change. Got about 9 inches here and am happy to be home after xmas shopping (my last day off so I had to try and finish). Almost got stuck at Wallmart, but floored it, and finally got out. I was NOT gonna get stranded there ( wallyworld by me is awful and only went there since it was close to home) Anyways came home to a driveway full of snow so I parked on street, brought in all bags, had lunch, and a quick nap and woke up to a snow blown driveway    !
