More questions for Disney vets......

In planning our trip we have been looking at various CR rooms...tower vs. 12th floor vs. 14th. I spoke with the Disney agents by phone and was told that 14th standard rooms will only accomodate 4 people; we have 5. So that leaves us with tower vs. 12th floor services. I was told on the phone that the 12th floor does not have access to the concierges for planning, seating, etc. That leads me to believe that the only benifit is the breakfast and snacks. If that is the case, then I do not think it would be worth the extra money for a concierge room. I was most interested in that service level for the help in planning things while on the property. I was told that the Poly had full service level rooms. Wondering how to proceed and would like some more input from those of you have stayed there before.
