I think you should also have:
I'm fine with the policy change and I used to bring a small amount of booze to offset the cost but I still buy some drinks at the bar.
That is us. We would bring some wine and some run onboard but still ordered from the bars pretty regularly.

I agree! But with the limitd options on here and without using a seprate survey site, it was the best i could come up with. Wish I could have added another question....
I'm also curious how many who were planning to book a placeholder or other future cruise while onboard still plan to. I, for one, am thinking I won't. I might. But I'm now leaning towards not doing it. That will be a first.
No placeholder here, we will be looking for more reasonable options on other lines for our next cruise, which will be Alaska!
Agree these questions are vey very loaded. It's not a scientific poll. Clearly not unbiased.Money Grab sounds very harsh. Is it a money grab when movie theaters ban outside food?
Here is the extreme, is it a money grab when a bar bans outside drinks? This is I think the best example, yes its sales but it also controls drunk behavior. Behavior that DCL is responsible for.

Agree, this is totally about money. Just as the head of NCL said he wanted to figure out the pressure point to squeeze another $5-6 (a day?) out of every passenger, so is Disney-forgetting that they have already squeezed me dry. We have a cruise in November-very excited-but there will be no placeholder bought, since (1) I want to go to Bermuda (2) I want different itineraries-a true Southern would be nice- and (3) I want more clout for my [now] fixed income.Like I said in the other poll. I believe this to be 100% related to profits. I'm not happy about it (As I have an upcoming cruise and already past PIF date), but I understand it, and I'll have to get over it. In the future as I choose cruises this decision by DCL will make a small factor in my decision.
We can all guess as much as we want. But the facts are DISNEY keeps saying we are changing to be in line with other cruise lines. Great now lower your price like other cruise lines.
