My wife and I are on the fence about which resort to buy at. We have been going to disney for many years and only recently discoved the DVC. My wife wants to stay at all the resorts over time. I know that I have seen posts about DVC peak times and Disney peak times can be different. We will be traveling the 1st week in june usually, I was wondering if we buy at saratoga, how hard is it to get into the BWV and BCV or even wilderness lodge if we always have to wait until the 7 month window to book.

You can probably get something at BWV for first week of June at 7 months. Most likely a Preferred - Water & Garden view.

VWL and BCV will be obtainable some of the time...these are the two smallest DVC resorts so they are a little harder to come by sometimes. I'd say if you're flexible and call right at the 7 month mark, you have a good chance of being able to book one of them.

If you want to stay at all the DVC resorts, then you will run into this situation no matter which resort you purchase at. Just make sure that your home resort is one that you will be happy to stay at in case none of the other ones you want open up in a given year.

Depends on the time of year you want to book. As you stated DVC peak can be different. Most on this board will say buy where you want to stay, I agree. Ask yourself what kind of benefits you enjoy from the resorts......do you like to walk to the theme parks...BWV, BCV.....take a boat VWL.....do you like a spa treatment and walk to DTD...SSR. Do you like being away from it all......quite place....OKW. For us it was simple...we bought this past year and knew we liked being attached to a park. So we bought into BWV...we walk to Epcot and MGM and have at time walked to Epcot grabbed breakfast and hopped on the monorail to WDW. As of late the 7 month to 11 month window can play a role because VWL, BCV, BWV are the 3 most demanded properties and I believe the smallest. Disney still has point available for the BWV, not sure of the price..........most guides will want to sell you SSR but ask about BWV.......or there is always resale.
