I was surprised at how bad Sunrise Hwy. was. They were only plowing it at 7 AM!

I was surprised at how bad Sunrise Hwy. was. They were only plowing it at 7 AM!

It was. I was afraid I was going to get stuck when I stopped to get on the Sunrise from the Parkway. I was slipping a bit, thankfully no cars were around.

It was only a few inches, could you imaghine if it was 15 inches!
We'd probably be home now.

I think they waited for most of the snow to fall. They've been doing a good job with the plowing, but it really didn't start snowing until 1 AM, so I guess they had to wait for enough snow to be on the ground before they started. It was a very powder-y snow so I guess they thought we'd be OK. I was glad we didn't have far to go.

I was just checking school closings--the schools in my town are delayed for 2 hrs. Maybe they knew that the streets weren't getting plowed overnight.

We had no school today. I called my cousin and told her I couldn't watch the extras last night because of Lilly's pink eye, but it kind of worked out well for me not having them all here on a snow day. Snow days with all six of them here are looooooooooooong days. Trying to keep the four older ones quiet while the two youngest nap=
