I'm not surprised you've never had lentil soup. Anita, your DD might want to try it--it's a good vegatarian choice, at least the way my dad makes it. He just cooks the lentils in water, adds salt, some onions & some celery. If you buy it in a can, you have to check the label--some companies make it with chicken stock.

It was actually two ladies, they were so nice. I think we left around a 40-50% tip, we felt bad they were stuck there just for us and they were both so sweet.
