I was wondering what happened to you--I saw that the weather in Chicago was horrible! Where did you sleep? I'm glad you checked in.

I stayed at All Star Movies, that was the only value available and since the hotel airports are so expensive, I decided to head back to Disney ! the room wasn't bad at all and I had a courtyard view so I got to look at a huge Herbie the lovebug from my window

That's true. That really is a long time, especially at this time of year. Glad it wasn't any longer then one night! That would have really sucked!!

Thanks Missy ! and yeah the All Stars are great value resorts, I stayed at Sports & Music before so I was pretty happy they only had Movies available

I didn't tell you guys--I came home to no dishes in the sink & the dishwasher was totally empty! so dad did a good job for me. and we ate out last night, so I was lazy one more day. I am going to cook tonight.

I was so happy! I paid for dinner last night & I am cooking some of his favorite foods--I'm making chicken for tonight, and then manicotti for Sunday. He might be going out tomorrow, so I'm just making hamburgers, but if the weather is crappy, he's staying home.

IM BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My flight was delayed then cancelled so I had to spend another night, well I guess if I had to be stranded anywhere, Florida is the place to be

I spent the night at Downtown Disney and OMG it was absolutely beautiful and festive there !!!! I was pretty depressed about not being able to go home and see my family and that really cheered me up

anyway, just thought I would check in, I have a ton of stuff to do

What is your weather looking like for early next week? My brother is supposed to be coming in on Tuesday

Morning all!! The kids are all home today. Snow day! Yep, snow day in Vegas.

I heard about that! How nutty! I guess you guys already had the storm that we are having today. It's not even supposed to start snowing until 10 am or so but they have already closed school.

Lilly was supposed to have her class Christmas party today, they moved it to today because they were worried about the snow that's coming SUnday night/Monday morning. That didn't work out too well

We don't even have snowpants and boots yet since my mom insisted she wanted to get them for the kids for Christmas. She may just have to gift them early- we almost made it to Christmas but we're supposed to get about a foot today.

Wish me luck as I will be trapped in the house with six kids who are psyched about Christmas AND a snow day. Maybe I should start taking excedrin now

the above is copied from weather.com- we're in Greater Hartford so we'll be getting slammed pretty good. Now for the funny part- the kids have a snow day but it looks like Ryan will too It just seems so funny to have a snow day at our age.

He will most likely be getting out early because he would normally work until 7 pm but they don't really want the guys on the road with the chance of having accidents in the company vehicles plus the worker's comp if one of them were to get hurt- they are outside climbing telephone poles and dealing with the lines and stuff. It will be nice to see Ryan early though, maybe he will come home with hard liquor in case the excedrin isn't cutting it

I'm glad Ryan is coming home early. The roads are too dangerous to drive in that weather and especially in his line of work.
I love snow days myself! I think no matter how old we get a snow day is a nice feeling!

Morning all! I'm up getting the kids ready for school. Their last day before Christmas break. And wouldn't you know it, I woke up with a toothache. It's been bothering me off and on for awhile now, but since I hate the dentist I kept putting off calling. Now of course, the pain is constant so I have to try and go in. I'm hoping they can fit me in today. Ugh, I detest the dentist!!!
