from my cabinet I keep it around for the two days of period cramps per month that are so bad they make me sick to my stomach. and sure, come on over

My brother isn't either, he was actually terrified of them! but oddly enough he became diabetic about 15 years ago and has to use needles every day

The kids are still bickering, just not 24/7!

It takes a while to get used to the heat. But even I am not used to over 100 degress!


How is Ruben liking his job? Is everything going good in Vegas?

His job is ok. Now that he's on days it's less money which sucks, so once his year commitment is up, he'll be looking for something else. There are several hospitals here so hopefully one will be hiring and offering more money! LOL

As for Vegas itself, well, the jury is still out on that one. Certain things I love and certain things I hate. So I guess in that respect it's just like anywhere else. We have to move next summer for sure. Because the school that Adam will have to go to for high school is not where I want him to go, nor does he want to go there.

So the question will be, do we move to a different neighborhood and school district or someplace else entirely. Believe it or not, the kids still say they'd like to move back to MI!!! Not sure I could handle that.

That does seem really expensive for what you wanted to get. I haven't gotten any prices yet, my uncle is going to take me and he'll make sure I don't get robbed since it's his friend who will be doing it. My uncle is a biker and pretty much has sleeves done at this point along with at least a few more (I can't keep track) so I'll just let him know I want one and let him lead the way. He took both of my brothers to get theirs. I don't know if I'll get a deal or not, but I feel pretty confident that at least I won't be ripped off. And I know it'll be a safe, clean place to go.

I think though, that since someone will be touching my foot, I'll have to go get my legs waxed and get a pedicure the day before

Well that's good you have someone in the know. I'm pretty sure I was quoted the rip off tourist price. LOL And hey, now you have a great reason to treat yourself to a little pampering.

The long list of supplies sucks but at least they got it to you in time for you to shop the sales. Staples is in the middle of doing their penny sale and I think I heard that Walmart has some of their usual specials already too. I hate it when we don't get the list til the end of the summer and by then everything is picked over

It's funny with all the stores we have here in Vegas, Staples isn't one of them. I was mad because someone else mentioned about the penny sale but I can't get in on it.

Oh well, there will be plenty of other sales. The older kids don't get their lists from their teachers until AFTER school has started. I thought I was done shopping last year, and then they started bringing lists home of things they needed. And since they have like 6 different teachers it was a lot of stuff.
