His job is ok. Now that he's on days it's less money which sucks, so once his year commitment is up, he'll be looking for something else. There are several hospitals here so hopefully one will be hiring and offering more money! LOL

As for Vegas itself, well, the jury is still out on that one. Certain things I love and certain things I hate. So I guess in that respect it's just like anywhere else. We have to move next summer for sure. Because the school that Adam will have to go to for high school is not where I want him to go, nor does he want to go there.

So the question will be, do we move to a different neighborhood and school district or someplace else entirely. Believe it or not, the kids still say they'd like to move back to MI!!! Not sure I could handle that.

Well that's good you have someone in the know. I'm pretty sure I was quoted the rip off tourist price. LOL And hey, now you have a great reason to treat yourself to a little pampering.

It's funny with all the stores we have here in Vegas, Staples isn't one of them. I was mad because someone else mentioned about the penny sale but I can't get in on it.

Oh well, there will be plenty of other sales. The older kids don't get their lists from their teachers until AFTER school has started. I thought I was done shopping last year, and then they started bringing lists home of things they needed. And since they have like 6 different teachers it was a lot of stuff.

I'd offer to buy the stuff and send it to you but postage would probably ruin the 1¢ pricing

Yeah, the less money part always sucks. LOL It's nice having him home at night but it's kind of hard being stuck home all day with the kids. Eh, there's always pros and cons to everything I suppose.

That's nice of you, but yeah, it probably would cancel out any savings. I know there will be more sales between now and then. Lots of them in fact. And I can wait since I'm really not ready to deal with school supply stuff right now anyway.

Hey Missy. I'm just waiting for Ruben to get home from work and then we're going to eat dinner.

No special plans. Last week-end was pretty busy with the inlaws in town and the b-day plans so we'll just be hanging out at home this week-end.

Ruben's days off are Sunday and Monday, so one of those days we'll probably go out to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and let the kids see how they make the chocolates. Then we'll probably hit the mall since it's one of the few places to stay cool and still be somewhat entertained.
