Those look good!! Are they just little fried dough balls or is there something in them?

Zeppole are just little bits of fried dough. They're not sweet like doughnuts, but they're similar to a doughnut. They're just flour, water, sugar, yeast & eggs. I eat them plain, my dad eats them with butter & jelly. If you go to Italian festivals in NYC, they always sell them.

Good morning!

I'm sitting here waiting to hear a press conference. There was a murder in our community, and they just arrested the husband.

This is the first murder for this town.


On a good note, I just got back from a weekend in Ft Lauderdale with a friend. We did some spa treatements and sat on the beach. It was a nice relaxing weekend away from kids!

But there was a group on the beach, with 2 blonde women who were very pale in bikinis. They were burned to a crisp by noon, but were still sunning after we left at 6 pm! ( we had umbrellas ) I think they're probably regretting that today...

OMG, that is so sad about the murder. Wow. I agree with Anita though that you must live in a very safe place if that's the first. I can't stand to watch the news here because the crime is so high.

I think I know what you're talking about. My Mema used to make those on Christmas Eve but we had a different name for them (which one of us kids probably made up, lol)
