2 more hours for me, and I decided to take Monday off, so this will be a 3 day weekend for me. I might be watching the girls tomorrow night, I hope I am because the last time they came, I was too sick to care.

Hey ladies, I was wondering where you all got to! I kept looking and looking but didn't see you because I was looking for that little arrow thingy that lets you know you've posted to a thread.


I've been good. Well, there's a lot of not so good stuff happening but I won't bore you with the details.

I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer. I can't believe it's the first August already. As much as I love the fall, I'm not ready to let go of summer yet.

My new grandbaby will be here before you know it. Two more months! Her shower is next Saturday.

I'm an aunt again! My brother & his wife had a baby girl last week, she's my 7 niece to go along with my 7 nephews!

Hope things aren't too bad. We miss you around here.

Lots of babies being born. I am a Great Aunt now. My nephew and his wife had their little girl Layla or Leila (not sure how they spell it) on the twins b-day, July 9!

Unfortunately, she was a month early and is still in the hospital and will be for another month. But she's doing ok.

Anyway, good to see you!! Now that you know where we are, no excuse not to stop by more often.

I know what you mean about the arrow thingy to let you know where a thread is, I do the same thing most of the time I don't even look at any of the other community board threads

Good morning!

I'm sitting here waiting to hear a press conference. There was a murder in our community, and they just arrested the husband.

This is the first murder for this town.


On a good note, I just got back from a weekend in Ft Lauderdale with a friend. We did some spa treatements and sat on the beach. It was a nice relaxing weekend away from kids!

But there was a group on the beach, with 2 blonde women who were very pale in bikinis. They were burned to a crisp by noon, but were still sunning after we left at 6 pm! ( we had umbrellas ) I think they're probably regretting that today...

I decided to take a day off just for me. Nobody needs me today, so I am having a day when I am doing stuff that I need to do. I'm doing some boring things--like laundry & cleaning out the extra room--but I got to sleep late, I'm still in my pjs, and I am going shopping.
